I can't seem to find peoples opinions of Wet N Wild....We've been to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach and want to try something different. We have a 9, 7 and 2 year old...are we better off going to the Disney water parks considering our kids are still young and probably won't be able to do the big slides at W&W?

Only the 2 year old will find trouble doing stuff. It's got a very ide selection of slides but does not have the theming of the Disney parks. Otherwise, if slides are the main reason you visit a waterpark, then check it out.

We went to Wet n Wild for the first time for me in almost 15 years this past summer.

My four year old, seven year old, my self and DH had a good time.

Get there early, the lifevests are FREE for the little ones, scope out chairs/tables and have a ball!

There is some height restrictions for some of the bigger slides.. IE the Storm, and some of the other ones...

But the kid area is a blast, and they didn't want to leave that area!

Any one know what day would be the least crowded? We'll be in Orlando 5/27 - 6/1 (leaving 6/1 so it's not an option!) So that would a choice of Tuesday through Saturday.

We went in August.. so this is on our experience the last week in August...

We went on Tuesday and Thursday mornings... we also went on one afternoon as well... maybe Friday?

If we got there at opening (and we did), it wasn't bad at all , and we would leave at about 1 ish or so. The one afternoon we went was well... just a teensy bit crowded, but we got there about 5 pm..and it closed at 730 so it wasn't bad either.

Thanks for responding. I've really been wondering about this park and thinking how strange it is that I haven't seen more comments about it. I was beginning to think that it might be a waste of money to go there. I think we'll try it out.

I assume we can rent towels yes?

Also, I was looking at the height restrictions for the some of the slides and was surprised to see that some are 36 inches...I think the family raft ride and a couple of others. My 2 year old is 37 inches and although she is quite hardy, she is still a toddler...can she really go on the slides with a 36 inch requirement? She seems young to me, but maybe the slides are more mellow than I think....Any thoughts?

Yes you can rent towels.. we brought ours though...

As for the height requirements, it all depends on the slide, there are a few where you end in a shallow bit of water... like one of the family slides, and the tobaggon ride, and the smaller slides in the kiddie area...Bubba Tub as well I think and the kiddie area even my eight year old liked if that is helpful.

In the beginning we kept a life vest on my DD who was four at the time...

Only one she didn't do well on and that was a rapid ride, because it was an inner tube that didn't have a bottom on it... but other than that.. she had a great time!
