Wet bathing suits

We drape ours over the chairs on the balcony. Never on the rails. With the Florida heat they are dry and ready to be put away in an hour.

Same here. Two suits. Hang over the shower, or outside out of view as best as possible. There really is no easy fix, especially if you have a lot of suits. )

I had to laugh at the thought of a giraffe eating a bathing suit. I also wouldn't put my suit out at AKL...
I was at the Poly and BC and that worked well, BUT when I stayed in the Contemporary Tower, I noticed the wind, and put one piece down and it was waving in the wind....sooooo. I decided to hang them on hangers and dry them inside. I didn't need to come back to my room and find my bathing suit pieces blown down into the trees or worse, on the ground near the entrance of the CTower!!!
I always bring 2 suits but find that the Florida heat can dry that puppy fast outside!

I use the clothesline in the shower, and drape the trunks(boys) over the side of the tub. Be sure to put a towel on the floor for drips. we also pack more than 1 suit that way one can be drying while we are wearing another one.
Guess there is always the rail outside your room too.....if you are not ground floor.....

This is what I do. Dh goes on the edge of the tub with a towel to collect all the drips. The girls and I hang ours in the shower. We always bring 2-3 swimsuits each. I hate getting into a wet suit for some reason.

bathing suits are lighter and easier to dry - do you mean or do you mean actual clothes.

Depends on the suit. Men's suits? Sure. My suits? Nope. I'm not thin, and my suits contain full bras and lots of double-layered lycra. When dripping wet, one of my suits easily weighs about 5 lbs. You are only supposed to dry them flat, and never machine-wash them.

Do wring them in towels, but go that one better: stand on the bundle. I use a double layer of towel, and I walk around on it for about 15 minutes. This helps a LOT, because your body weight can exert several times more pressure than just your hands.

For the most part, heavy suits will not dry completely unless they are left in the sun or put directly in front of the air conditioner for a couple of hours. The air inside Orlando hotel rooms is otherwise normally too damp for complete drying. (When in Orlando, I actually have been known to finish swimming, go into the pool shower with my little bottle of swimsuit cleaner, shower, clean the suit, put the suit BACK on, and go lie in the sun for 30 minutes to dry it.)

I also carry an extra travel clotheline from Magellans, along with a couple of spring clamps. It comes in handy.

I really hope you are joking. People think the decorated windows look bad, I can just see wet bathing suits hanging off of all the rails....

Thanks for everyone's suggestions and ideas! Now I just have to go swimsuit shopping for an extra suit
