Pop - 922.00 for the 10 nights

total = $2552.00

Westjet package - air and hotel - same dates - even with "parents fly free"

total= $3245.64

Total savings doing it our way

$693.64

And with NWA I don't have to fly through TO - which we HATE! The last time we went through Pearson - we missed our connection b/c of the Customs line!

I love being able to clear customs in good old Winnipeg!

Park tickets to add to your package are the same price as the MYW tickets through WDW - they don't save your any money - nor do they cost you more, kwim? Park tickets were NOT included in the westjet price of 3245.00.

We have a few options for tickets.

We have enough airmiles to get 7 day bases for all of us - and then we'll upgrade to extra days when we get there.

If free dining comes out for our dates - and if based on last years dates we'll only get it for half the stay - we may upgrade to a package to get the free dining - we'll have to work it out cost wise.

If there is a good AP rate for the room one of us will upgrade to an AP from the airmiles ticket.

We'll just have to wait it out

I know that the regular WJ air only price from WPG for the 4 of us is 2983.00 - or 743.00 a person?

We fly out July 14 for ten days. our total was from the Westjet website. I don't know if the prices have changed, we booked in late Jan. Hope this helps.

After seeing this thread, I checked out Westjst Vacation package for my dates Aug 16-23.

I have booked my Westjet flight myself, with Disney World for 7 day park tickets with Park Hopper, dining, Pop Century for 3 adults for $4,076. With Westjet Vacation it would be $5,001 with only 5 day tickets. A savings of over $900 plus more park tickets.

- flight, POP for 7 nights, park hoppers + - it averaged out to $742 pp taxes in. I thought this was a good deal, in fact, since I have already booked a Land and Sea Vacation for August I had no plans for another trip but the could not pass up the deal By the way the trip is in April.
Currently I am getting quotes for my August Flights which are more expensive the the entire April package !!!

Be sure to post any deals you find for August We are going August 16-30, and the airfare from Halifax or Moncton is abnormally high. It is at least half the price if we drive to Bango or Portland. Maybe Westjet or Air Canada(ugh) will put on a seat sale soon. Otherwise, we'll be driving to Maine.

Westjet vacations just quoted me $4336.08 for 7 days at pop century plus DDP for 2 adults 2 children. We would fly out of Halifax. Not sure if this is a good deal or not.

I think for us "maritimers" the westjet vacation package is a good deal......for the others, I think not

I called last week for a quote from Toronto. For two adults and two kids (6 and 11), I was quoted around $2600. That included 7 nights at POP, airfare, 7 days of tickets (waterpark and more) and all taxes.

Seems like a good deal to me.
