westjet late flights?

travelling march 12 leaving halifax at 340 and getting into orlando at 1046
we are travelling through toronto. we usually do those 6am flightsand find toronto very busy ie customs will it be better later in the day or worse? we have about 2 hours but we also need to have a dinner as well. we won;t be getting to the PORS until about 1130 if everything goes well. will we end up with the worst room in theplace? I have requeted aligator bayou and a certain building and have always gotten requests in the past(check in early afaternoon) now that we are checking in close tomidnight what do you think our chances are????????

Hi, I'm on a similar Westjet flight on our upcoming Feb 09 trip but from Saskatoon arriving in Orlando at 1046PM. I went to the YYZ website and checked to see roughly how many flights were departing to the US around our flight time. Now you can't see that far in advance but it'll give you an idea of what your up against if you flight was leaving today.
As for your room, you may just get the worst room in the place but you can try to switch rooms in the morning.

Hey your leaving about the same time we are. We are Leaving from Regina with Westjet but going the Regina-Calgary-Orlando route. Comming home though is really weird Orlando-Toronto-Calgary-Regina with over 8 hours of lay over time lol!

We are currently leaving Saskatoon @1:15pm to Winnipeg, Winnipeg to Toronto, Toronto to Orlando @ 1046pm.
Leaving Orlando at 355pm to Winnipeg, Winnipeg to Saskatoon @910pm.

I booked with Airmiles and our flights have changed many times but with the changes I have been able to get better flights that I wasn't able to at the start.
Where are you staying, we'll be at the AKV's and SSR until the 18th.

Yikes! Some of those flights look terrible. I'm glad we can drive to Seattle and fly out from there.

Wasn't impressed when there was a seat sale a while back with West Jet / Air Canada. The times out of Vancouver weren't very good and the prices were not that great even with the sale.

Ahh We leave Regina @ 5 in the morning arrive at Orlando at 7 pm We are staying at POP. Our finght home is at 7 am and we get home 11pm lol! Both are really long days. My DH should be wearing his Rider hat, most likely the brown one. Watch for us

I've taken that YYZ to MCO late west jet flight. It worked great for us as I worked a full day that day and then headed to the airport after work (we drove 3.5 hrs to YYZ). It was so exciting to see so many other people with ME tags on their bags checking in

The flight itself is very pleasant and went by quickly. We used magical express and there was no line ups at all at that hour. Very smooth and an excellent start to our vacation
