Westgate Tips for a Marriott owner

So unfortunately my family owns "every other year" at Marriott and will have to do a Getaway through II this year. Westgate is the only resort available and while looking through all the reviews, I'm a little nervous. Can anybody provide some tips of which Westgate to choose? Hoping we won't be disappointed in Westgate. We have stayed at Marriott Grande Vista and Harbour Lake and really enjoyed it. This is the first time we're staying at non-Marriott. The Vacation Villas or Town Center are the best - Lakes a distant 3rd but with easier access to parks other than Disney. None are Marriott quality but those come as close as they get. Avoid sales or at least be prepared to say NO. Best to accept the invitation for a meeting/update but schedule it for your departure day. Then unplug the phones unless you like being called at 7am and as ,ate as 11 pm a few times - plus calls during the day as well. Leave on or after your scheduled time and laugh as you think of the frantic calls to your empty unit by the weasels. Except for sales (and mediocre maintenance/upgrades) the resorts aren't bad. Enjoy.

I concur that Westgate are really fine as long as you can say no to the pushy reps.
I don't bother scheduling a meeting...they'll tell you it's a "free breakfast" to get your opinions...but it's really a sales pitch. Don't make a fake appt - just tell them that you are on a shorter than usual vaction and have no time to spare...but you'll be sure to take them up on it next time.
We are checking into the Westgate Town Center on Sat...the accomodations are spacious and comfortable. You'll be fine.
