They just called me offering me a two bedroom unit for the week of our vacation (Sept 15-22) for 6 adults for $564. The catch is that we would have to sit through the 90min timeshare presentation. Anyone done this with them? Is the resort nice??

we stayed at the westgates a couple of years ago. We stayed in a 2 br with a loft. It was VERY nice. We also sat through the presentation. They were very persistant, but you just tell them "No" if you are not interested. The accomadations were very nice. We exchanged our timeshare week and did not have to pay anything so I don't know about the prices.

We are set to stay at Westgate Lakes this coming week, and I am hoping it's nice too. My parents were offered the same kind of deal with listening to the time share presentation. They have stayed at the Vacation Villas with my brother's family the last two years and liked it so they took Westgate up on the offer again this year and we canceled our Disney ASM reservations. We'll save $$$ and have more room to spread out as there will be 4 adults & 2 kids.

They sent me the confirmation letter from the resort and I saw that it says Westgate Lakes instead of the Villas where they say they've stayed. I am hoping it is nicer and newer because it looks to be farther away from Disney's gates. Anyone know how the Lakes compares to the Villas??? Thanks for any info! :)

PS, I will report back if after our stay too so you will have more info!

i have stayed there once last sept and planning on going back next Nov, we had a two bedroom and it was wonderful, a very nice place. I have four kids and we had room enough for four more. go to
www.westgateresorts.com and check it out,
The down fall is sitting though the 90 minute presentation .but you get discount attaction tickets. so it was worth staying there.

We are a party of 7 staying at Westgate Lakes in a 3 bedroom June 3rd-10th. We are interval international members. We aren't exchanging, but Westgate is one of the resorts you can use a getaway vacation. We are paying 699 for the week. I called interval and we aren't required to take the presentation. I am glad because I've read the 90 minute presentation is really 4 hours. I put in Westgate Lakes on the search mode of the forum and got a lot of encouraging and discouraging information. So I hope the person going next week writes a thorough trip report so I can set my conscience at ease

Was the presentation really only 90mins? I think I could live with that to save $600 on my hotel bill for the week. :)
