Hi Folks

Since this is the Innaugural cruise I was wondering if anyone would have a clue as to what Themes would be on which nights?

What would the possibility be of changing Formal night from the traditional second night at sea to the third and keeping the semi-formal night on the sixth night?

Did I read somewhere that "Its a Small World" is on Friday night or is that the Master Chefs night?

Does anyone know when DCL will commit to a schedule?

Thanks

DCL has indicated that the "theme" nights will be scheduled the same as on the Eastern cruise. That doesn't particularly make sense since that would make Formal Night the night that the ship's docked in Key West, but that's what they're saying at this point. When you come back from the Inaugural cruise, you can tell us whether they stuck to that or not.

Thank Dave. Went to your site for the menus which seem to indicate theme nights. Am I right on this? If so the Small World is on Friday? DCL says Master Chefs on Friday? I think it is on Sunday and would coincide with the "scheduled" formal night? Any help? Thanks again

On the Eastern itinerary (and therefore, ostensibly, on the Wester itinerary), the Master Chefs Series menu is the menu of the night on Sunday, which is also the night of the Captain's Welcome Aboard Gala. The Captain's Gala menu is served on Thursday, which is the semi-formal night. Small World is on Friday. Not real obvious, is it?

Hi

Dave thank you, it seems pretty clear to me. Thanks again!

I just called the Disney Cruise Line number, and the lady I spoke to said the theme nights are remaining the same...

Sunday - Formal
Tuesday - Tropical
Thursday - Captains Gala
Friday - Small World

This makes no sense whatsoever as you would think with Monday being open and a sea day, it would be a simple switch to move the nights. The rep spoke to her manager and confirmed this information.

She gave me an address to write to "voice my opinion" as it were. It is:

Disney Cruise Vacations
Guest Communications
PO Box 10238
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

I may shoot out a letter and ask them for confirmation and explain the issue. We have gotten a few different answers from a few people and I don't know who to believe.

The question then becomes, do we cancel any late night excursions in Key West to come to dinner or do we just miss formal evening? What are you guys going to do if it comes to that?

Jennifer

Just to show it depends on who you talk to.

I was told that formal night would be on Monday night as to not conflict with the Sunset Cruise at Key West.

I guess we will find out when we board on Saturday.

My DW and I want to do the sunset cruise at Key West during our July 6th cruise. I would hate to think we have to make a choice between the sunset cruise and the formal night. Not fair!

Currently, the Themed Dining information is as follows:

A salute to the diversity of the Disney family. A special dinner allows the executive chef, chefs de cuisine, sous chefs, pastry
chefs and the rest of the culinary team to showcase some of the favorite dishes from all of the countries represented within Disney. Dining rooms will have a multi-national decor
Crew "farewell" event

NOTE: All items are subject to change and are not offered on every cruise.

We look forward to the chance to sail with you.

Sincerely,

Tracey, Guest Communications
