Western Caribbean from Galveston

We are considering a Western Caribbean (Cozumel and Progresso) from Galveston on the Magic. Could anyone who has done this tell me if Port or Starboard staterooms are preferable for views?

The views are pretty much the same either side. The port in Progresso is an industrial port waaaaaaay out from the beach. Not much to see there. Cozumel...either side you see the same thing. The transit in is just the Gulf/Caribbean until landfall. Not much to see that's different on either side.

I agree with @dad of 3 addicted to DCL ... this is one of the cruise where the side of the ship is not as relevant... both in ports or at sea.
