Western canada GKTW/Power of 10 event?

Have been pondering whether there might be enough of a critical mass of Dis fans to have a western Canada Dis event for GKTW? With flights to Nova Scotia more than a flight to Disneyworld, it got me thinking of another Canadian option. I am in Alberta and would be willing to help organize either Edmonton or Calgary but we would need enough people to make an event. Just a pie in the sky idea at this point, but wondering what others think. Do you think people would be interested? I am a stay at home mom now, but in a previous life was a conference organizer and I'm curious what others think.
