I'm just sitting here killing time until I meet Shannon for lunch. Kaleigh is on the couch watching "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast" while Shaelyn is on a school trip to a local lake to go swimming - did I tell you it is a balmy 46*F with light rain here today? ;)

You really swim in that weather? I thought you were joking on the cruise.

It is just pictures of the cruise. I put it up on myspace. I made one yesterday for my birthday to send to all of my friends so they would remember me on Monday, which is my birthday. I usually see a lot of them on my birthday but since we went on the cruise this year we aren't going on the trip that we usually take. They are all sad so I sent them a slide show of pictures of me. I also sent it to my new friends that I met on the cruise that are on myspace. I REALLY like my birthdays ;)

I have a myspace page...but I don't do anything on it....more active on facebook. But, I'll have to try and figure out how to say hi to you so I can see your show! :goodvibes

They'll also return well behaved!

Woody

Well, we can hope!

That's really hard for a scrapbooker - we have a tendency to collect things :thumbsup2

OK, here's the dirt on Ebay and pins. I've sold most of my pins from premears at sea for $20-40 per pin. Yes, they are worth something later especially to the collectors. They are rare and hard to find. We are the only ones who have them. I've sold about $2000 worth of pins on ebay from all kinds of places Hard Rock and Disney that we collected over the years. I still have a really good collection that we love.

Gaylean, send them to me and I'll sell them for you and then you'll have more money in your paypal account. Paypal is about to expand in ways that are shocking.

Ahhh, you see, you need to read that powerpoint and figure out the trick to keeping yourself healthy on the Magic so you can go on more cruises! :thumbsup2

Kelly....sounds very interesting. We will have to chat soon!

Yes, I do need it! I have MGUS and a low white cell count, so fighting off infection is a real challenge for me. That is why I was so interested in your profession. I am always looking for a healthy way to not be permanently medicated or on antibiotics. Since my job is all about prevention I try to practice what I preach in ways that are applicable to myself.

I don't. But kids + water = probably.

I remember growing up we had a pool in our backyard. My dad said we could go in the water when it reached 72*F. Luckily our pool was heated so it reached that quite early in the season!!

Guess I'll have to tell Shannon to setup a myspace account. Her and I only have Facebook accounts right now.

Someone just asked me to join Face Book and I was wondering if that wouldn't be a better option for me. A lot of people think myspace is for kids and old men looking for kids. I've had mine since I was in my early 20s so I just kept it. I think it is a good way to keep in touch with people.

I'll send it to you to if you have a myspace account. I wonder if I could put it on here. I'll try.

No Myspace account, sorry.

No it didn't work. Too bad because that would be a good way to see pictures.

Shame I would have loved to see them.

We gave our 2 premear Narnia pins to our grandsons. I'm going to get them back now!!! :rotfl2:

What is MGUS Kelly? Doesn't sound too good. I hope you are feeling much better now.

Maybe I should keep them for a while :confused3 My friend keeps bugging me to get involved on ebay so I guess I should. How is paypal going to expand?

I believe in celebrating the BIRTH SEASON. ::yes:: This starts whenever you like and ends whenever you like.
:cool1: After all, you are worth more than just a DAY. :thumbsup2 I found a Birthday Card this year that says in Belgium it is traditional, to celebrate for a month.
So, have at it!:goodvibes

Want to share the address to the myspace? :confused3 Do people have to be members of that? I just signed up for Facebook, but keep forgetting to see if anyone sent me a message.:rolleyes1

I like it but I might get a facebook too since most of my friends are on both now. I think you have to 18 to be on there right? I have a few teenagers in my family that I talk to on myspace.

Facebook can be any age I do believe. I know lots of highschool kids are on it, but it does seem to be increasing with the older crowd. I just find it a little easier to use than Myspace.

If anyone wants they can do a search for me, Ken Newell, and just look for this pic as my profile:

That's a good idea. My myspace is private but I will take off the privacy so everyone can see it. I'll be back with the address after I take off the privacy thing.

Cheri - I just LAUGHED OUT LOUD!!!:rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I can't see Ken's pics at work but have been chuckling at his commentary.. I can see your pic.

the real trick will be when she inserts the funny dance into the water. Yes Cheri that was a dare!!!

I have to laugh at myself her, I just realized that dance that you saw was the same one I've been doing since I was a little girl. My mom called it my funny dance. I have to find those old movies..oh the quest begins.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
