Good morning everyone! Sorry I was MIA last night, but have now become obsessed (sp) with doing my tr right.....with pictures and everything. Worked on that until almost midnight and have already been at it this morning (uploading pics to my Argentina and Countdown writeups).

Holly - good luck w/ Steve....keep us informed :goodvibes

Nan - hope everyone gets back to being healthy soon. I'm still on antibiotics and have some medicated cough syrup as well so on the road to recovery here.

Jill - TDS - doesn't hurt to call them to touch base....but don't worry if you don't get in....WE know that you are ment to be a CM here in FL so it will happen when the time is right.

Shannon & Ken - good to see you both posting again. Don't let life get in your way of DISing!

Deborah & Nan - I have some cute pics of Olivia & Molly - but those are on the home computer so will upload them here this weekend.

Martha - thanks again for the thanks :lovestruc I realized last night as I was going through pics to add to the tr that I didn't get a pic of you & DH - I have 1 of you in the background but nothing of the 2 of you.

Ian & Michelle - FYI I'll be in Spain btwn 11/8-11/17

cool I'll love to see them :thumbsup2

(NAN, pretend we are sharing a drink while you read this!)

Actually it was all revealed at the last meeting in the Walt Theater. You weren't really given clues to actually solve the puzzle correctly...you pretty much had to guess who you thought did it and where the picture had been hidden. Really, the only thing you could 'solve' was the reason for the theft and that was from the clue of the four paintings hung in the gallery. It was a lot of fun to watch the CMs do their characters though. Luke (Storme) did a great job...which I didn't actually realize till I talked to him 'out of character'...so not a surfer dude! And Trent inspired a big case of the giggles when I asked the inspector from OOPS my question during the Studio Sea session. All in all, a lot of fun...even though it did force me out of bed earlier than I wanted to one morning!

...back to catch up....

that was a good BBC, thanks :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Now to bore you with some of the ones from the Dolphin Swim in Cabo. The one where I am riding the dolphin and my hair is in my eyes is just after she had dove under a pool between two people in another group. Not a planned move, at least that I know of. Doug said later that it wasn't and they thought for a minute she was going to jump it with me on her back.:scared1:

And Freda's final farewell.

Will post some that I took when I get finished with them.

Carol

Carol,

Good for you and Doug. When I suggested anything like this to Sukie, he looked at me like I had 3 heads.

It was fun. :thumbsup2 It was the Dolphin Swim Excursion through DCL. The nice thing is the Dolphin pool was within walking distance of the ship so once the tour was over we were on our own.

That looked like a blast! Great pics! Will have to really consider that next time we are down that way!

How long was the total time with the dolphins?

Nana the show was great, wish there had been more seats we could have brought you both along. Sometimes it pays to show up later, LOL.

Pj

Thanks for your kind words. We had a great view from where we were. The box seat area is sort of part of the show and that just added to my enjoyment of the show.

V and Jolene, congrats on Grad School! :thumbsup2

Carol, loved the photos. That final shot should be a postcard. ::yes::

Nan, glad you enjoyed the BBC.....I had TWO. ;)

I get to have dinner with Cheri tonight, we can regale Peg with more cruise stories. I've NOT done enought talking about this trip yet!

back to work

Oh cool, I love the aquarium. The otters are my very favorite. I could spend all day on ocean drive watching them.:lovestruc

And the best pizza anywhere is just up the street too.

Can you tell I love Monterey?

::yes:: please send me what you find on Big Sur as well.

So??? And the place for pizza is named???? I have to put that in my book of places to eat when I visit you know!!! :cool1:

Hey V...

I'm not sure if anyone got to answer you yet about the uploading of your pics...

You have the Canon and like mine, the camera has to be turned on to upload...

Good luck... can't wait to see pictures!!! ::yes::

COOL TIES...

A few of you asked about making the Cool Ties that mom and I did for the FE gifts... (although I can report that making 106 of them creates lots of quality time spent with the makers of such ties ::yes:: - mom and I watched TV everynight while making them...for 3 weeks!!! )

Here is the pattern that I used... they are really easy if you can sew even a little bit (and I can sew a little bit - Yes Steve.. you're FE was a little bit!!!) You can get 8 of them per yard if you just fold the fabric in half and then again, I think 2 more times...

http://www.p2designs.com/ShipCooler.htm

I use Shultz's water crystals. You can get them online but I found mine in Home Depot. YOU ONLY HAVE TO USE 1/8 OF A TEASPOON OF CRYSTALS PER POCKET IF YOU MAKE THE 4 POCKETS... 1/4 IF YOU ONLY DO 2 POCKETS PER TIE. So a bottle of the crystals goes a long way... HINT... they are also GREAT to use in your garden and especially your containers... the crystals are the same crystals that Miracle Gro potting soil is putting in their moisture control soil. They hold alot of water and you have to water less.

Have fun and if you have any questions... let me know!!!

Who stole the Captains picture, why and where was it?

I hope this has been answered, if i don't see it in the coming pages, I will post.

Funnily Sophia, John and Amy's Daughter got the who without attending any of the clue sessions, she quizzed me and Amy on any and all details we could gather for her, lol.

Carol, I love your pictures! I SO wanted to do that excursion. Next time....when I cruise alone I'll be able to do it. :thumbsup2

V, good job signing up for the MBA program. Lots of hard work ahead of you but I'm so glad your employer pays for it.

Hey Congrats!

I've been accepted to grad school too and also am excited. It will also be paid for and I'm doing Education. Hopefully the degree will help me move up with the college.

Big step for sure, hope you do well.
Congrats to you too Jolene! :goodvibes

Love, Love, Love the dolphin pictures, Carol.

Thanks, we will be making these for sure. We loved the tie.

I keep forgetting to post this. When I went back to work, I had to work by myself since everyone quit. Everytime I came out of the backroom I looked for green lanyards and people I knew. I thought one of ya'll might just pop-up around the cornor like on the ship. You didn't though.:worried:

It was great "knowing" so many of you. One night I went to the show alone and there was Cheri alone too. I didn't have to watch the show alone after all (DH was napping). It was like that everywhere. I saw Deb and Jackie alot and they kept me informed on what was going on. It never failed everytime I needed a picture of Matt and I, up popped Ken. And can't forget our tablemates. I sat at the table the other night and all I had to talk to was my cat. It was great getting to know everyone and DH surprised me by booking another cruise!

Kathe and I were were there when your DH booked your surprise cruise. He made us SWEAR to be quiet and not tell you. He said he was just going to let you be surprised when you opened the mail. Everytimne I saw you I wanted to tell you!!

ok, I am not blonde, the camera is on!! I had to go to my pc then click the canon thing, before it just did it by itself??

COOL TIES...!!!

OH, yeah, those are so COOL! I just might be making them for friends! We are going up to Illinois next weekend, maybe that will be my little gift to them! They all love to walk and garden, so they get very sweaty!

Hi All.....I'm so glad we're still posting here.....I miss you all! I'm so glad we had some Magic together.

I came home with the cruise crud also.....cough, congestion, head, chest, couldn't breathe....lots of fun!

I'm enjoying reading everyone's stories and seeing everyone pics and tr's. Thanks for that. It keeps me from having to go through withdrawals. I think Jill said it best, I could sit and eat dinner with my friends or I could sit and eat with my cat! Being with all of you on this this journey made it magical. I'm so thankful to all of you for that.

I hear that there's going to be a Monterey meeting soon.....I'm so jealous and wish that I could be there with all of you. Then there's the Ian and Soukie weddings.....I love you guys and would love to share your special days with you too. Then who is going to WDW before the end of the year? Monica......you'll be meeting with all of them I'm sure. And now Darrell and Lisa will be able to also. When are you guys moving to Jacksonville....in July?
I have to plan my next mini-meet or I'll be too sad.
