.back to work.

thank you!:cool1: are you going too? It would be lovely to meet at last!

YEAHHHHHHHHH Angel......let's do it......we have plenty of time to prepare. I think we started a tradition with our champagne tasting. This one will be better because you will be there with us!

thank you Deb:hug: ....just 463 days to go!:dance3:

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Good thing I saved my Tinker Bell outfit! Next time I won't forget to wear my wings! Welcome aboard!

I LOVED your costume Cherie! :cool1:

We are doing the same thing so we thought the butterfly farm would be perfect...but NO, the princess needs school :confused3

The bad news is that one of her friends lost her mom to cancer :( the doctors kept saying she would be fine but she wasn't. They never told the baby that her mom was even sick so the whole class is really shocked. Brooke keeps saying if she would have been there she could help the little girl. I try to tell her that nothing will make it better but she doesn't believe me.
Oh my gosh, how awful! I'm so sorry. :(

you are always welcome to my neighborhood, seems since it's just 1.5 hours away for us, it's close :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

have you thought about getting the girls some of the butterflies they can grow on their own? We did it for Molly when she was 6 or 7 it was a great learning lesson. check out what they sell on the web and I'll try to find the one we used. all of our caterpilers grew to butterflies, I think 10 or 12 of them.
That's actually what I gave Tyler a few days ago for his birthday present. His is Bugville brand and it's called Live Butterfly Treehouse. The website listed on the box is www.spinmaster.com. We're waiting for the baby caterpillars & food to arrive in the mail. :thumbsup2

I would do both Hawaii and Alaska.

Actually the chatting the other night got me to looking at NCL for a Hawaiian cruise (Pride of America does a Hawaii only trip) and the excursions are very cool, I found several at each port that sounded very cool.

Pj

Hey PJ. DH and I really enjoyed the Billy Hill and the Hillbilies show at DL. What about you? You and Angie & Dennis really luck out getting the box seating. I was so happy you got chosen.

Tallulah believes that exercise is waking up from a good snooze, having a snack and then laying down again because she is exhausted from the snack.

She & I are kindred spirits :rotfl2:

Have you ever bought that broccoli slaw? I mixed a bag of that with some chopped apples and tuna, then used some of that spray on dressing (raspberry vinegarette)--it was very good! I also put in some walnuts.

Cheri -
First I must tell you what my sister said after seeing the Champagne Girl pics (especially you & Planky)....."you look like you had a great time". She also didn't really understand the outfit....I had to explain :rotfl:

Broccoli slaw - LOVE IT! But I usually eat it straight from the bag :lmao:

Carol, and hopefully Cork if she is lurking.......John was late home from work last night as he had glued himself to something!!!!:rotfl2:

Hi Pj - I've looked at NCL for this cruise too....but have changed my mind cuz I know 2 different people who went on this cruise and said it was terrible! Service and food were cr ap. I think Holland America does something w/ Hawaii too....I'll look that up and let you know.

Gaylean, diddo!!!!

Sorry to anybody I didn't say hi to, but having a slight stutter and being slightly shy I didn't quite get as brave as I wanted to on the ship. :(

Pj

I thought you (& Gaylean) did fabulously......I enjoyed meeting and spending some time w/ both of you (and of course everyone else :goodvibes )

NCL has 2010 dates out!
Is there a cheap month to Hawaii?

V - I don't know if you read my response to Pj earlier or not....but this cruise is not recommended by several people that I know.

It was great! I don't think it was as good as MNSSHP but it was certainly a really fun evening. We went the day before embarkation on the cruise and it was a great way to say goodbye to WDW. Although it did make it difficult to get up in the morning to head to the port. I do highly recommend it. I did notice thought that there were far less adults dressed up than at the MNSSHP, but LOTS of kids were dressed to the nines.

When my friends & I went to P&P (not the 1st one but an early one) we each wore tiaras and carried our wands....:wizard:

Kelly, as others have said they were perfect. Much more comfortable than the wider lanyards and I liked the open top of the badge holder because I could easily put other things in there (my license, credit card, etc.) Made it really handy!

That was so handy! I carried mine with me every day and made notes in it so I could remember what I did each day!
)

Kelly, I agree with everyone that I liked your lanyard the best of the hundreds I seem to have collected over the years, I used the little plastic envelope for my KTTW, my reciepts, notes, my ID, you name it! And when we went to DL, I just clipped my room key to it, too! Perfect!

I had some nice conversations with strangers who asked me about the lanyards, or the "Ship of Thieves". They were a great conversation starter!

I agree! Several people asked me about it after they said that they'd seen many people wearing the lanyards.

When I went for my facial, Pavi also asked me about it.

As for the butterlfies, we didn't know about the butterflies at school until we were leaving for the ship so we didn't bother with the butterfly farm excursion. .!

Well, I went to the Butterfly Farm and the Aloe Factory with 2 other Dis'ers on our own, and I was not impressed by the Butterfly Farm. The plants were nice, but the butterflies were almost all imported from exotic places. It wasn't very well organized either.

The butterfly exibit at Lukas' Nursery right here in Oveido is better than that. In my own personal opinion. I enjoyed the Aloe Factory, but I wouln't have paid for the "tour" The museum was interesting, and I enjoyed the shop, too.

Actually those are the cruises we were considering for this year before we heard about the Disney Magic PC! Since it was our 35th wedding anniversary present to ourselves, we had always considered Hawaii, since we went to Alaska for our 30th,

But I am so glad we chose the pirate:Ship Of Thieves instead! :sail: I guess we'll make Hawaii for our 40th anniversary! :disrocks:

Monica - are they a bad cruiseline?

I think I found the perfect cruise for us....4/3/09 16 night from Ft Lauderdale to Lisbon, Cadiz, Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Rome.
We'd only have to fly home! $1499 pp porthole.

Carol, and hopefully Cork if she is lurking.......John was late home from work last night as he had glued himself to something!!!!:rotfl2:

Marilyn - this sounds like there is a story attached! Do tell!:lmao:
