VERY sad about Universal Studios. And scary since many of you were just there the other day. Been watching news updates since earlier this evening.

I know, DH said to bad we didn't go to Universal it's burning down! I thought he was kidding until he showed me the pictures. How sad, hopefully they will build it back, since the backlot tour is one of their main attractions.

Each time I saw you, you lifted my spirits and was glad to have met such a wonderful person.
Did the suntan lotion help? The sun was brutal that day. I was sweating profusely and I don't think any sunscreen would have lasted long if you didn't keep reapplying it. We left and went to a shaded area.

The lotion did the job! Thanks for sharing it. I have a very slight 'pale' mark where my watch was, so I'd say I just got a bit of healthy color on the trip.

Today I lead my Sunday morning WW meetings. The members were really cool. I fessed up about having gained weight on the cruise. I think they appreciated the honesty.

Also, there was a very special new member in my 9:30 AM meeting. The sister of a rather fabulous person on our cruise. I nearly fainted, they look so much alike that I thought she had driven all the way from AZ just to see me.

I WOULD drive from AZ to see you....well, and to see her too.

So here's what happened to me: a few days before the canal I bought 5 postcards and 5 stamps, which I promptly lost. I looked everywhere in my room (no one to blame but myself--rats!) so I went to guest services and bought 3 more, which I addressed and mailed. Of course, when I was packing I found the 5 postcards and stamps! So I think that now I'll just write them out to my friends, put my address on them, scuff them around a little bit so they look like they've gone through the mail and then give them out to people with the explanation that I didn't know their addresses so I just sent them to my house. Whadda ya think?

Well after three weeks and three days vacation, we did finally make it home today. Booooooooooo Hooooooooooooooo! I had such a wonderful time being away....
This really was the vacation of a lifetime and with all the special people we have met here to share it with.....it has been a once in a lifetime experience that none other will even come close to......this one was exceptional.

Welcome home, Deb. I enjoyed your DL, Hollywood and Redondo Beach pictures. My "home away from home"! I hope when you were on Hollywood Blvd. you stopped in to the Disney Soda Fountain!

So glad to hear the two of you are thinking of joining me and staying on board after the Tortola cruise My DD said today she maybe wants to join me on that cruise She can't make it for both, but I'm hoping she is able to join me for 1 week anyway! I'm waiting to find out what happens to her at work tomorrow(she's probably getting bumped from her job due to store closings ) but either way, I think she will NEED this to look forward to, and her DH says to go for it (he doesn't want to cruise ) as long as I will be buying her DOD's

Hi Kathe.....great seeing you a lot on the boat.....I loved running into you. We're booked for the first week in Tortola, but not for the second week.....at least not yet.....

NOT YET, she says!

I gained 8 lbs and enjoyed every minute of it
One week later, have lost 3, so 5 lbs to go. Well, I`ve certainly moved on, lean cuisine just doesn`t compare with the cruise menu though

I didn't get out as much as I had hoped but it was a great trip anyway. Thanks to everyone for all the FE gifts. I did see a few of you in the halls but I guess I ran opposite to many of you.

We have suffered badly from jetlag this time Cherie. Usually on return from Florida we don't have much of a problem, just extreme tiredness, but this time we have been awake in the night, dozy during the day and wide awake when due to go to bed!!! John has snoozed quite a bit but I haven't slept during the day! I feel much better today though and slept well last night.

I so miss seeing you around. It was lovely chatting with you(and John really enjoyed his chat that day with you on his own), but so sad we didn't get round to having a coffee together. Where did the time go? We will definitely be getting over to AZ sometime so will have that coffee then. Unless of course we change our cruise date for September '09!! I worry about cruising in hurricane season though.
