West Wilderness Trail open?

I love to walk the West Wilderness Trail connection Wilderness Lodge and the Settlement Depot at Fort Wilderness. It's so peaceful and feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of the parks and the rest of the resort. I even saw wild deers on one walk.

Unfortunately, on my last few visits, the road and trail were closed because of construction related to Reflections.

Is the trail open again now that they stoppe construction?

The walking path is still closed. Construction of the former Reflections, now Lakeside Lodge, has restarted, FYI. Personally I think the walking path will eventually reopen, but we’re probably looking at 2027 when Lakeside Lodge is done at this point, in my opinion.

I never knew it had a name. We once walked it because of stories of seeing all kind f wildlife. We saw a lizard.

But going during the evening of Christmas decorations sightings at fort wilderness, we saw many animals.
