Just checked on our flight dates for our disney cruise in Dec and happily found there was a sale on the seats on the way down. The way back has gone up since yesterday (I assume to make up for the sale down). At any rate.. I only booked the one way down... $279 plus taxes.. pretty good for a direct flight I think!

Aw, Shelebeen, don't let Boncho get to you. I doubt he/she is an Albertan and has no idea what real air transportation costs.

All those "expecting" $59 flights from Buffalo and the likes will be shocked when SW's big savings from their fuel contract ends and prices approach something like normal rates. Even with their cheap fuel they have been bleeding capital pretty steadily for a while now.

If it's a good price to you, it's a good price. End of story.

Op that's a good price for a direct flight. That is about where we are going to see them for some time to come. You can get a lower price on a connecting flight but with the time difference it makes for a very long day

I checked Boncho's profile but it didn't indicate where they were from. I suspect they must not be accustomed to flying out of western Canada to the eastern US.

According to Google Maps, you'd have 40+ hours of driving to get there by car(that's 4x10 hour days of driving). Sounds like a fair price to me.

From Edmonton, it's usually 6-7 hours flying time, not counting airport transfers at either DEN, ORD, or YYZ. That's a pretty fair distance to go to see a mouse!
