West Convention Way to Grand Californian

I am looking at possible car rentals as we will be driving down from Yosemite. Right now the lowest price is with Hertz and has us dropping off on W Convention Way (I believe it is close to the Anaheim Marriott). More than likely it will be after they close for the evening when we make it in, so their shuttle is out. We will be staying the week at VGC. Once my husband drops off the car, can he walk from there? Or will there be taxis nearby?

Any help is much appreciated.

We are hoping Alamo prices will drop and we can just return the car in DTD, but right now Hertz is $400 cheaper.

You can walk from the Anaheim Marriott to Disneyland; it's a little over a mile. There will probably be taxis at any of the convention center hotels.
