If the posts about Summer 2008 are correct then it looks like DCL is headed to the West Coast. This is good news for me since we live in AZ. Now does anyone remember the schedule of ports and days at sea the the Magic did in the Summer of 05? I want to do a little research on them while I think about the possibility of doing the Mexican Riviera in 2008. TIA!

Day at sea, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas, two days at sea.
At least I think that's how the sea days were......or was it two before, and one after??

In July 2005...

Saturday leave Port of LA
Sunday at sea (formal night)
Monday at sea
Tuesday Puerto Vallarta (pirate night)
Wednesday Mazatlan
Thursday Cabo San Lucas (semi-formal night)
Friday at sea
Saturday return to Port of LA

Thank you.....it's heck getting old and losing your mind!

We live in Oregon and all of this talk of DCL visiting the West Coast in 2008 has tickled me pink! :cutie:

Now if they would just hurry up and announce it and open up booking!! :hourglass

I have some pictures on my cruise website from our 2005 DCL Mexican Riviera cruise if you want some ideas of what you might see ... well, that is you might see some of the things... unless you sail with our family, you're not likely to see the PEOPLE that are in the photos :rotfl:

Now all you have to ask is: "Who did What?" in each port and your research will be done for you :rotfl2: (I think some of our group obsessed for months!)
Kim- did you do the Veranos Zip Line in PV?

Wendy, will you guys think about doing it again in '08? I LOVE the idea of three sea days....MORE BRUNCHES AT PALO!!!!!

Months???? Try a year!! :rotfl2:

We booked the Aug 2005 repo cruise in May 2004 ... who knew that 15 months would go so fast, or that there'd be that much to discuss over a 15 month time span.

Since we all know that DCL takes a looksy at these boards every once in a while ... Mr. McAlpin, sir:
Could we please skip Mazatlan and spend all day in Cabo?

yeah, I know, he's gonna get right on that....:rotfl2:

Cheri--no, we didn't do the zip line. We did the dolphin swim (DH and DD) and the dolphin encounter (DS and I) in Puerto Vallarta, went to a beach resort in Mazatlan, and did parasailing and waverunners in Cabo.

And I agree...MORE time in Cabo, please!
