Were you able to get the Contemporary with the codes?

We would love to change our ressie to the Contemporary (wing section) for our trip. Our travel dates are Dec 2 depart Dec 9th.

I called to find out but its sold out.

What I am wondering is, if you are staying in the contemporary, wing section, in november or beg of december with the code. if so, what was your price?

we have 2 adults in 1 room, and 2 adults, a 2 year old (free) and a 5 year old in the 2nd room.

I am asking because if its way more than what we can afford i won't bother trying to call in every day until september 30th to see if i can get a room with the dining included code.

I just tried online for 12/2-12/8 out of curiousity for myself and it put up AKL instead.

I tried rack rate at the CR for 12/7-12/9 Nothing but suites in excess of $800 a night and up. I am hoping someone cancels.

I think the monorail hotels were very hard to get with these recent codes. I've not heard of much success at the CR, Poly or GF. Darn it!

I'm thinking and I can't think of a single person who has gotten GF! and yes, very very few at CR or Poly as well.

It looks like the dates that you are going are the black out dates. I just wanted to let you know, that we are checking in to CR wings on 12/9, and my AAA rate was better than the new package discount.
We will be there 12/9-12/15, 2 adults, 2 kids, 7 day base ticket and dining, at CR wings - the discounted price would have been $3092.90
The same thing with a AAA discount is $3042.26. And the AAA TA told me I could save an additional 2% of my package by paying with a AAA credit card. So we are sticking with AAA.

I don't know if its the time difference but i HAD the AP rate at GF for oct. and switched to CR MK view instead. As much as i wanted the GF, theres no guarantee in 2006 for a MK view and the new refurbishment at the CR just made the deal too sweet to pass up.

Today I got the AP code applied to my existing Poly reservation for 12/9-12/12: $824 incl. tax, 3 nights, GV.

No code availabilty for WL reservation 12/12-12/16, though .

I say just keep calling to see if anything opens up, that's what I'll be doing !

Originally I had the CR booked for 11/26-12-2. I tried to apply the code ZBH (I think that was it) Anyway it was the MYW with dining with a one day park hopper. This is for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 junior. I was not able to get it and the CM said it was because there was some convention at the CR the first week of December.

However I was quoted the following:

GF: $3,313.79
Boardwalk: $2,949.35
YC: $3,088.07
Fort Wilderness Cabin $2,503.79
And POR $1,801.00

We went with the Poly because we wanted to monorail this year because my youngest is 5 and sometimes still takes breaks.

The Poly, YC and POR were quoted on the day the rates were available.
The BW,GF,FWC were quoted yesturday.

So if you didnt get what you want I would keep trying just in case it opens up. You never know when someone will cancel.

We had already had CR MK view for 10/3-8 at rack rate and tried to get the AP discount applied but the only thing available on the monorail for those dates was the honeymoon suite at the GF (that was on 8/16). I'll keep trying but don't hold out much hope for a discount for anything on the monorail for our dates. I've been trying different dates at the CR over the last few months and there doesn't seem to be any availability there for any of the dates I've tried.

The 1st day it was offered, the AP code was avail. @ CR for garden, bay & mk view for various 2 days stays the dates of 10/12 thru 10/16.

We already had found a AAA rate, visa pkg & even a AAA combo pkg.

In standard season, MK tower view, including all taxes:

$440 plus tax a night, but that is value season and most of October is regular season so it would be more......

I got the new discount (Visa), for my stay at a garden wing CR room from Nov. 29-Dec. 5. The discount was a flat $40/night, but since it was part of a package with dining plus 7 day tickets I'm not quite sure what the room cost works out to be.

Don't give up...I have clients at all of the monorail resorts using the newest codes (some on VISA some on general code)

CM told me yesterday they do have AP rates on CR atrium, just few & far between, depending on occupancy...doesn't look probable for my dates.
