We're touring Disney like a 3 year old (2TRs in 1!)- UPDATE 5/18 pg. 46

:( Oh no, the last park day always stinks! I'm always trying to cram in as much Disney as possible at that point!

It's so cute how eagerly your little one joins a parade or dance party! She looks like she was having a great time!

Okay, if someone was trying to take away my Kaki Gori, I would be making the same face.

The last day is always so sad, isn't it? Good choice on your last park of the trip though.

She is too cute! I've been looking forward to an update...i loved the flashback posts!! :lovestruc

Aw, thanks. Sorry about the big delay in updates, but I feel like time has just flown by! I can't believe it's already mid-December. I hope my next update won't be too long in coming.

Boo for the last park day! That day is always so bittersweet but it looks like the little one was having a great time. When I recently read that the Little Einsteins were leaving DHS, I couldn't help but think of all the fun she had with them and hoped there will be new friends she'll enjoy just as much!

What?! Oh no! I didn't know the Einsteins were leaving. She will be so upset when we go next time and she can't see Annie. She still walks around carrying Annie at home, in addition to carrying her Belle and Ariel toddler dolls. I guess I am not as surprised because there are barely any Einstein toys out anymore.

The last day is always a bit sad, but luckily I have another trip I can write a bit about.

I think that's exactly what she's saying! :rotfl:

And yum! Le Cellier! I'm drooling at the food pictures!

Right? Her face always says it all.

Are you guys going to eat at Le Cellier on your Disneymoon?

And by the way, I am still totally coveting your Disney village.

I know! I do too and we actually ended up fitting in 3 parks on our last day! I always need to end my Disney vacation at MK. Always.

She seriously can't pass up a parade or dance party. Even if she is standing off to the side dancing.

Okay, if someone was trying to take away my Kaki Gori, I would be making the same face.

Me too. Did you notice that I have my own Kaki Gori cup? Because I wasn't about to share my cup with my little girl. Not with the way she devours desserts.

I just wanted to comment that I was heart broken at the end!!! I didn't think it would happen and it did and I seriously was upset!

right?! I knew a death was coming, and I had it narrowed down to Jiminy or the Huntsman, and when they showed a preview the week before of Emma crying, I knew it was going to be him. Maybe he won't be totally gone? Maybe Rumplestilskin will have another trick up his sleeve.

Is your name Ann too?

and just so ya know ... I'm a Once Upon A Time-aholic!! haha. CRAZYYY episode..

We definitely will try to eat there! Fiance says it is one of his favorite places to eat at WDW!

And thanks! I'm glad I was able to show it to you.

Um, did you watch last nights?!?!

BAH no I haven't had a chance to watch it yet! It's really unacceptable!

Glad yall enjoyed Le Cellier! I've never been there. BOO. I admire your no beef eating though, I used to do that too! I need to do that again... I like cows.

Aww last day. :( Your DD and her characters. SO CUTE.

Yup, I am an Ann! :goodvibes Not a common name nowadays, though. ooooh, right? This past week was a crazy episode!!! I am so addicted to that show.

We definitely will try to eat there! Fiance says it is one of his favorite places to eat at WDW!

So many places to eat, so little time, right? When are you going to start your PTR? In Jan, because that's next year? ;)

What?! Still haven't watched it yet? I watch it as soon as I can on Monday morning or sometimes I'll be able to catch it Sunday night.

haha, I love that comment. I like cows.

Yes, last day of the parks on this trip, but I'll still write about our August trip on here too! She does love her characters.

YAYY for a Le Cellier dinner! How incredibly lucky! It's a shame they didn't keep that fish on the menu, because if you thought it was better than the filet, it must have been INCREDIBLE!

Oh nooo the last park day is always the worst. :sad2: Ugh so sad.

But yay for Toy Story Mania! Ahh the flashback photos are so cute! Even though your little girl is so young, she has grown up so much already!

And yay for characters and parades - her favorite things.

It sounds like a great start to your last day! It makes me sad because our flight is early on our last day. :sad2: I love these "squeeze-everything-in-before-you-have-to-leave" ends to the trip... but we won't have that this time. Oh well!

Can't wait for the next update - even though we are nearing the end :(

Hi Ann!

I just read your entire TR (so far). I LOVE IT! Your little girl is so cute, and it's been fun to see how much she's grown since last year. I also realized that touring with a little one is WAY different than what we did last time. We'll have to get used to that. :goodvibes

I love all of her character interactions. She just lights up around them. And her Annie and Jessie encounters were priceless! Your family is precious, and I'm glad I caught the tail end of your TR!

Oh, that dish was so good! I hope they kept it as a seasonal item. Even my husband loved it! Sadly for him, there weren't any leftovers for him to eat.;)

I always feel like the last few days are so sad because you know the trip is coming to an end. We always try to book a later flight on the last day so that we can fit in some more vacation time. In the case of our Feb. trip, we were able to fit in a fun character breakfast....

End of the this trip, but I'll tack on stuff from our August trip to Disney and Harry Potter! :yay:

Hi Staci! Welcome back to the DIS, I've missed you on here.

Glad that you liked TR so far. She has grown so much, it's crazy. Just wait....kids grow so fast! And yes, touring with a little one is totally different. And do I spy a trip in your future? I've never gone with an infant before, but I see them all the time at the parks.

She is totally in her glory around characters.

SOOOOOOO, I made a little mistake as I am relooking at my trip planner. I totally JUST realized that Sunday night was not our last park day. It was our next to last park day. Whoops. So please just move all of those bittersweet sentiments over to Monday’s day. Haha, sorry. This is what happens when I try to write a TR so far after the fact. However, our way of touring was still pretty much the same – we were trying to squeeze in all of our favorite last things. So think of my little brain fart as an added bonus! One more trip day to read about! Sorry I've been a bit slow in the updates, but here's a short little update to move it along!

So, back to Sunday evening…..
After enjoying our little snack of icy goodness, we made our way back to the car and took a quick refueling break. In other words, we took one more drive through Orlando/Celebration as our little one napped. We had a big dinner reservation and I didn’t want her to be cranky and tired for the evening.

We soon made our way back on Disney Property for our dinner ADR. We had an early dinner time, but that was fine with us. I was really excited too because it was at a place I have been dying to try out. Could you tell from the title of this update where we ate at?

We parked our car just in time to catch the Disney bus over to our intended destination. It was so interesting to get a view of Fort Wilderness, and I love all of the names of the different bus stops! Soon we were all making our way out of the bus, got into a big long line, and headed in for our seats.

If you couldn’t tell by the title, does this give you a clue?

We were at the Hoo-De-Doo-Revue! I was seriously so excited! First, I love me some fried chicken. Second, I love me a good, cheesy show. I was laughing so much throughout the whole dinner. I had been a bit worried that we were sitting so far back, but really, it ended up being great! We could still see all of the action and we weren’t packed in like sardines towards the back, so we had some breathing room.

There was a woman there who was celebrating a big birthday (I think it may have been her 80th/90th) and she kept getting picked on through the whole night. And she was playing right along the whole time. It was fantastic! I love when the audience gets involved in the show!

Of course we all got in on the washboard action.

ry%3D400

Actually our little girl was trying to play the washboard and eat her strawberry shortcake at the same time. Thatta girl! Nobody messes with her dessert!

You know what else was great? Our little girl’s favorite character from the show even stopped by our table during one of the walkarounds and stopped for a picture!

ry%3D400

Sorry I couldn’t post a better review of this dining show, but it’s been so long that all I can remember is that I really enjoyed it. Once again, since we had taken that extended weekend away from Disney, we had some extra dining credits to use up. Hoop-De-Doo was a perfect solution for us. Since it was the earlier seating, we still had time to head over to the MK for the rest of the evening. There was actually going to be extra magic hours that evening, so we figured it was perfect. We would could wander around and go on some rides and not feel too rushed.

We stopped off for an obligatory castle picture.

ry%3D400

We popped over to Tomorrowland for one of our little girl’s favorite rides – Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. However, I was soon realizing that we had gotten totally spoiled over the last week with low crowds. Things had definitely picked up over the weekend and it was packed that evening. So our plans for wandering around leisurely and hopping on and off various rides was scrapped. I think we made it onto 2 rides that night. The second one having a massively long wait. But it was one that our little girl really wanted to go on, so we weren’t going to deny her that.

Can you tell what ride vehicle we are in?

ry%3D400

Poor thing, by the time we got onto Peter Pan, it was close to 10pm, and our little one was definitely tired. She made it though!

ry%3D400

We tucked her into her stroller after that and decided we could just stroll out slowly while she rested. I love seeing the Magic Kingdom all lit up.

ry%3D400

I have to say that while the MK was packed when we first entered around 8pm, it definitely had cleared out by 10pm. Probably because all the families with little kids had to call it a night, like us. Our little girl crashed in the stroller so we decided to take advantage of it and just take our time walking out.

ry%3D400

I love the details on this castle!

Sadly making our way out MK since the vacation is close to an end. We always get sad the last couple of days of our vacation.

Sorry it was so short and so sorry again about the last day mix-up, but I'll try to see if I can get another, longer update in soon.

Glad you all enjoyed the HDDR! :)

Those castle pics are just beautiful!! The park at night is so pretty!
Glad you aren't quite done! :)

Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family! :santa:

Hi Dawn! I just sent you a holiday text ;)

Thanks, every once in a while we manage to grab a nice scenic photo (not as nice as Caitlin's though) of the area.

Yes, I can't believe that I got the days mixed up, but when I started going through the photos for the next update, I was like....whoops. Then I had to pull out the old trip planner and look at everything again. We had plans to leave on a Monday on our August trip so I thin that's how I got confused.

Merry Christmas to your family as well! Here's too a better year for you all!

Oh goodness, I know. I can't believe I'm saying this but I STILL have not seen the episode from... 10 days ago. But I have a VERY good excuse. I was getting ready for Disney, I went to Disney, and now I am recovering from Disney. Then there's that whole... Christmas thing? hahah I'm really hoping to watch it tonight or tomorrow but I'm worried because everyone I've talked to says they didn't like what happened... bah. I'll let you know as soon as I watch it!

YAY, bonus TR day! Hahaha, don't worry, I get it! I'm glad yall enjoyed Hoop-De-Doo Revue! I've never actually been but I'm heard mostly good things about it! hahah...NOBODY gets between her and her dessert! :thumbsup2

I love HDDR! It's sooo much fun. You and I seem to be very alike. I love me some fried chicken and a cheesy show too! Put them together, well, that's just perfect.

You read my TR with Jason and I, so does it surprise you that the last time we went Jason got picked to be a "performer" during HDDR?

Your little girl definitely has the right idea, don't let go of dessert while playing!!!

:rotfl2: wish I could see that picture right now.

I love the Hoop-de-doo review. It's a fun show. Glad you all enjoyed it.

We just drove through Celebration before we went back to the airport on Monday. What an adorable town. All those cute houses decorated fror Christmas. Next time I would actually like to get out and walk around!

Can't believe your trip is almost over.

I think she was afraid the waitress might come and take it away before she had a chance to finish it.

I think we would get along swimmingly! Don't forget about our love for MMC and the Party. ;) I think because we were fans from way back when, we should get first dibs on Ryan Gosling or something.

Wait, did I miss the part about Jason being picked to be a performer? Or is that on a different trip? I am sure you were enjoying every moment of that!

:rotfl2: wish I could see that picture right now.

Yay! You're back from your Disney trip! I can't wait to hear all about it!

I love driving through Celebration. It is a really cute town. We had dinner there in August and it was pretty good!
