Of course we are like everyone else and want to try this ride during our visit. Do you recommend early entry and trying to get a fast pass, or after 4 pm when it is unofficially open? We would like to avoid horendus waits

Camping Griswalds,

This attraction is unbelievable. There is nothing like it anywhere. The launch into space is a prolonged G-force that drains the blood from your face! And the launch is followed by a near weightlessness feeling. Astronauts have confirmed that the launch experience is realistic. The ride is now open intermittently. Ask any cast member (especially the one in front of the digital Tip Board just past Spaceship Earth) if the attraction is open. I recommend FASTPASS during early entry or anytime it's available, or using the Singles Line (if the wait isn't too long and your family is willing to split up).

I think August 1st through 3rd are the passholder preview days, so they might not be doing the public previews during those particular days, just a caution I guess. Maybe a cast member or someone can confirm whether it would be closed to everyone but passholders during those days?

The offical opening is 8-15 and they have been running MS almost everday after 4pm. I think you will have a great shot to ride!!!
