Were the spoilers removed for quest?

Yes. And so were the guide threads with how they beat the pirates task 16 but more people are
posting them in their team threads so..

sorry everyone VMK's page was updated with information that bans may occur among a few other things, from using guides to complete the quest. I didnt want to see anyone banned over it. We were especially concerned the authors of the threads would be retaliated against.

For the benefit of people who have yet to pass task #16: after you win at ship battle, do you have to answer any trivia questions, or do you just complete specific tasks?

The six or eight tasks after the pirates section are pretty easy, and you should be able to complete them without risking getting bumped back to pirates again (thanks for designing the quest that way, VMK).

eta: also, I do not recall seeing a time limit on any of the tasks either.

Thanks for the info! I understand why Aengus has to remove the spoilers, but at the same time, I do not want to play ship battle again!

Do you have the poster one? Or the pin of a similar name? I believe you need the poster.

Did you try exiting and reentering? Clicking on the q button again? Some times times I find the tasks don't register right, so I just have to open the q button again.

There was another recent quest (was it the easter one?) that required a particular item, and if you had more than one the task wouldn't pass. If you have two or more, try dropping them all in your room and then picking one back up.

Obviously, they don't want people to have help.
Unfortunately, you have to have help to get past #16!
