As movies is great !!! Your family will love it. We've stayed at All-stars for 4 trips and really have no desire to stay elsewhere.
Have a great time !!

We've stayed at ASMovies 3 times and we'd stay there again. It has all the Disney feel you could want. Just a note, the other two AllStars, Music and Sports have a special for 55.00 per night running now, if the resort doesn't matter you could see if you could rebook to a different resort at a lower rate. I'd prefer the Movies though.

I had considered it but I really want to be at movies, rather than sports or music. I think my 2 year old will get a bigger kick out of movies (gonna be patch for halloween!)

How do you put the countdown in your msg?

Sorahl I to am wondering how the ASM compare to the other resorts. We are going in June 2003. My mom will be in one rooom and dh ds9 dd13 and I will be in another. The kids will most likely go between rooms. Right now I am really undecisive as to where to stay. I had room only ressies at the CR for 2957.00. I don't see the savings in that so, I changed to the CBR. Now with tickets that came to 2601.00. If the all stars are nice I'll even consider changing ressies again. At this point I am really confused about where to stay.

DH & I stayed in the Woody building (#9) for seven nights in January and LOVED it.
The service was better there than CSR and POR.
We are checking into ASMu in a few days and I am really looking forward to our stay!

We've stayed at many of the Disney hotels - and I have to say, All Star Movies is definitely a GREAT place to stay! My youngest absolutely loved being there!

We were staying at the Contemporary in June 2000, and planning to come back for a quick Christmas visit. While DH and 2 oldest kids went to MGM for Fantasmic, Allison and I hopped a bus for All Star Movies, and it was so cute! All Allison talked about was staying with Buzz & Woody. We stayed in the Love Bug section which was great - a quick walk to the food court/bus stop, and the room was so quiet! The kids loved the "popcorn" light fixtures.

In 2001, we went back for another quick visit to see the Christmas decorations (DH couldn't make it the year before), and we stayed at the Movies again - this time in 101 Dalmations! Great location - close to food court/bus stop, and very quiet! (Even better was the $49 rate we got for the two rooms!)

Go and enjoy!! By the way, I think the All Stars has some of the best bus transportation too!!

Doesn't anyone have anything negative to say? :) Thanks for all the positive support on this. Regardless of where we stay we are going to have a great time. I always say that 3/4 of the Disney Magic you have at WDW you bring yourself...

Haven't yet stayed at ASMo, but stayed at ASMu and loved it. We're staying at Movies next and can't wait. You're doing the right thing - All Stars give you alot of bang for your buck!
