I'm sorry you won't be able to go this year, but 2012 will have Cars, and everybody says that ride shall be amazing! It is hard to have to cancel but at least you can look forward to that?

It is always sad to postpone a trip but 2012 will have so much to offer ... Cars Land, Little Mermaid ride, Star Tours etc etc ... Have fun planning your trip for next year

Sorry for having to delay your trip. But building a new home is a big, major deal! You should be excited about that!

Disney will still be there after you're all settled and have furnished your home.

That's really disappointing. Sounds like a wise move though. I think more people should realize they "can't have everything" as you say and maybe this world wouldn't be in such an economic mess.
Like everyone else has said, it probably is better anyway as more of the construction will be over by then, and you're coming such a long way you want it to be worth it!

And when you do get to go, no more construction walls and ride refurbs in DCA. Yay for prettier parks, fresh look and feel, and fun new rides and lands!

YA, It sucks big time that ya have to change your time to go to disney we are doing the samething. We was planning on going may of this year but I got pregnant and want to take this baby to disney too so we are going to wait till 2012 to go down and that way the baby will be at least a year old. Just more time to plan everything and keep looking for things to do
