As long as we can get on the flight!


For those who haven't seen my thread from the other day - US Airways are using a Boeing 767 rather than an Airbus 330 from Manchester to Philadelphia this week. They rang us on Friday to see if we'd fly from Gatwick instead - I said no. I was then advised to get to the airport early tomorrow as not everyone will be able to get on the flight! We've packed an overnight bag just in case we don't get to fly till Thursday.

Thanks everyone! I'm quite chilled at the moment about it all. Not too worried if we don't get to fly tomorrow - they have to put us up in a hotel and pay us compensation if we don't get on the flight - so a nice bit of extra spending money would be ok. We're all packed - no work till 4th April - bottle of red wine ready to pour - life's pretty good - bring it on!

Just got back - managed to get on the flight without without a problem - they had transferred a lot of passsengers to either a Virgin flight or to a Gatwick flight - managed to get a complementary upgrade to Business Class - very nice!
