We're off tomorrow...

Hiya all, or should that be bye all?


We are off on our hols tomorrow - but don't get to Disney till the 12th - I hope they are doing something for the 15th Ann but we'll see when we get there I suppose....

Weather is looking good, kids are excited, just want to be in France NOW!!

We leave early tomorrow - drive Gloucestershire to Dover (thank goodness for in car DVD !!!) Cross Dover/Calais and hope not to be sick!!!! Then drive south of Paris to the Novotel Ury for our first night (a fantastic hotel surrounded by the forests of Fontainebleau - thoroughly recommended!!!)
Then off to Grandma's near Angouleme, south of Poitiers, till the 12th.

Then a 5 hour drive back to the MAGIC staying at Davy Crocketts for the first time, so will be a different experience.

So, any last minute tips are welcome - I've been writing down the tips so far in my compulsive planners notebook - which I'll take to try and record our stay!

Anyhow - got to pack : feeling like this now:

Be prepared for staying late on the 12th, I heard from different CMs that they are planning fireworks!! Not as big as last Saturday, but still!

we're nearly packed, and the kids are back from school - so officially the holiday has started!!!

My next post will be in a couple of weeks.. I'm getting DIS withdrawl anxiety already - I'm addicted!

p.s. grandma is Scottish just retired to France - so it's more like bonn jyou war ! - she spent months going round saying au jour d'hui(sp?) ie. today, instead of au revoir (goodbye) too! But she is lovely so was easily forgiven.
