We're off to the Pinewood Derby**UPDATE pg 2** DS won!

He was so excited to win! He finished first in his age group - Webelos I. Then he had to compete in a run-off with the Webelos II champ. Logan won that race, so he is now representing our pack as the Webelos winner at the council Pinewood Derby on April 26th. Pam - if you are near the Clearview Mall that day, please come and cheer him on. I would love to meet you!

Here is a picture of Leah with her Disney car, of course! She did pretty well in the family race - I think she ended up about 7th or 8th out of 20.

That is wonderful news Laura!!! Conratulations to Logan!!! And it sounds like Leah did fairly well herself!!!

So how far is that mall from Columbus? If not too far, I could always make a day trip to visit and cheer him on

Elaine, the mall is near Butler, PA, so it is only about 30 minutes north from us. Not sure how close that would be for you, I'll have to check.

What time (approximately) will Logan be racing? I think DS's Scoutmaster told me that the race will be close to 6 hours that day to get everyone in - does that sound right? PM me with a time and I'll try my very best to get down there!!

I have such wonderful memories of the Pinewood Derby from when my son was a Cub.

I've always thought that everyone who competes is a winner - being able to share time with my son, and having him spend time with me was a wonderful reward.
