We're off soon to see the sea!

Just thought I'd post to say bye bye for a week as we are off to Jersey on Saturday and I won't be around tomorrow due to packing for 4 (DH is working 'til late and I haven't got the kids fully trained up yet!).

Can't wait to see a beautiful blue sea, we are staying right near the sea for the first time ever (been to Jersey several times), in one of the small bays on the North Coast, so it will be nice in the mornings to be 'right there'!

We usually do quite a bit of walking in the country lanes of Jersey but this visit we won't be able to because of my foot, so hoping we enjoy the week anyway, I have the number of a shop which hires out wheelchairs just in case but hoping it doesn't come to that! The Battle of Flowers parade on the Thursday should be great as we have front row seats. Last time we saw it 4 years ago Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto were there from Disneyland Paris so we may even get a Disney fix!

Have a wonderful week Mazzy, we love Jersey and DH lived over there when he was (much!) younger with a friend who still resides in St. Helier. (Great for free accommodation when we can find the time!!)
