We're now going as a family.....FINALLY!!!!

I can't wait! We last went to Disney for our honeymoon (1997) and said then that we can't wait to come back as a family. Well....we finally are heading back with our two children! YEAH!!!!!

I have a question for all of you experienced Disney travelers....

1. We have two dates in November that we can go...which one would be better in terms of crowds?
-Nov. 23 (Wed) through the 30 (Wed) * this one would give us time in the park after the Thanksgiving crowd.
or -Nov. 19 (Sat) through the 26 **This one would be in the midst of the Thanksgiving crowd.

2. And...we're going to take advantage of the Magic Your way package with another family. We would love to have adjoining rooms....how do we go about doing that?

Congrats!! So happy for all of you. Tough question. I personally,would go the Thanksgiving dates,just because all the Christmas decorations will be up. SOoooo magical! As for adjoining rooms, I don't know,but I'm sure someone else does.Good luck!

Congrats on your trip!! We found Thanksgiving crowds unbearable and I would avoid them at all costs. Connecting or adjoining rooms can be requested when you make your room reservation but they cannot be guaranteed. Have a great trip!!

You would get a quicker answer on the adjoining rooms question from the Resort Board. there are some resorts that have larger suites but I'm not sure, like the other poster said, that you could be guaranteed especially because your travel dates are within the peak Thanksgiving season.
Unless you wanted to rent a villa.....prices may shock you on those.
