Leaving for the fort in 2 weeks. Unfortunately, we will not be decorating our site for Christmas. It's our 1st time ever to Disney, so I don't think we'll have much time at the site. We topped 20,000 lights at home last year, and this year I might put up about 5000. We won't be home for most of December, so I don't have the time to light up the house.
We'll be at Mickey's Christmas Party.
We will enjoy looking at all the other decorations and will probably be sorry we didn't decorate.
Please don't single us out. Merry Christmas.:santa:

WOW only 20,000 lites, we're bringing just a little more than that.:rotfl2:
Nobody thinks less of you. Your just planning to spend more time with MICKEY, who could argue with that.:thumbsup2

You sound like you decorate big time at home. Trust me, you will be sorry if you don't do some decorating at the site. It's so nice to come home to a lit up campsite. At least bring a couple of strings of LEDs, and a blow-up or two, maybe some candy cane pathway lights, a tree or two, Oh and don't forget the animated Santa, Oh and a wreath you got to have a wreath, might as well make it a Mickey wreath.... anyway I hope you have a great trip. But seriously you got to at least do some lights. Takes no more room than a shaving kit and no more time to string up than a shave.

I agree, don't fret ~ have a GREAT time!!

I agree , ya'll aren't gonna hava lotta spare time,,so just tend to matters at hand,Learn'n and Enjoy'n Disney !!
Ya'll are gonna hava such a Magical time !! pixiedust:

No worries. It's all good. Plenty of people do, plenty of people don't.

We'll take a few - but we don't go crazy. We do that at home. :thumbsup2

oh, and don't forget a couple or 12 flamingos with santa hats! and don't forget their spotlights so they'll be seen at night. :rotfl2: just go have fun & don't worry about going overboard. A strand or two around your awning, or a ropelight on either side of the drive is more than enough to light-up your site.

As others have said, you will be fine either way. But I suggest you bring at least a couple strands of lights and maybe one Christmas blowup...Mickey or Santa. The only reason I suggest this is I know when coming back to the site after a long day off having fun, it feels so homey and magical to see the RV with some decorations and the soft glow of Christmas lights. I put them on a timer so they come on while we are gone, and we always loved coming home to them. Even maybe just one strand on the awning.

Have a great trip!
