I can't stand it anymore...we called our rep today and gave a deposit for 200 points at BCV! I am so excited!

What a neat feeling to have vacations year after year to look forward to in a place as neat as WDW!

I want to thank you all for giving me all of your tips, advice and 2 cents for each and every question I've asked.

I'm sure I'll still have more questions...you guys have all been great and I look forward to meeting some of you sometime!

Just wanted to congratulate you.

And did you know: DVC information does not go on your credit report-we didn't know this and cancelled our deposit/contract and then found out on these boards that it doesn't go on there unless you're delinquent-we cancelled because we didn't want it on there for when we bought a bigger house, car, etc. Just FYI-we thought this was kind of nice. We had to call back and get new paperwork and everything-it was kind of a hassle.

I do wish I was there...but considering we just got back from our Disney Cruise a little over a week ago...I can't complain too much.

It sure does give me something to look forward to though!

We were told that our use year would be September which I think will work out fine. As it stand now, we weren't planning on using any points until a year from now, so that will give us 400 points, with the 2002 points that we'll get, meaning we can book at 2 bedroom and take my parents along as well!

Welcome home! My wife and I bought 200 points at BCV as well. When are you planning to go? We were given points for 2002, which we are using for a 12 night stay at a studio in June, and our 2003 points were just used to reserve Xmas through New Years of this year. I can't believe we are going twice in the same year. I think we'll bank 2004 points and get a bigger place for 2005 so that we can take our son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. Then again, I hate to skip a year. Maybe we'll use a FEW points for a HIlton Head trip in 2004, and bank the remaining points for 2005. Decisions, decisions! Isn't it wonderful to have to make them?
