Arrived home around 4pm this afternoon :)

Had a fantastic Christmas :)

Flight slightly delayed due to the bad weather in Gatwick, but not too bad :)

Had some great meets and meals with Lorraine (BWalker) and her family and we bumped in Squitty and family at DTD checking yesterday and at the airport (there flight was delayed - the flight crew we still in their hotel when the flight was due to take off! You can imagine the reception they got when they walked through to the plane LOL).

Right here's some highs and lows:

Highs:
Christmas Decorations
MVMCP - expecially seeing the parade with snow falling :)
Special Christmas Fireworks in MK
The special holiday ending to Illuminations in Epcot - you didn't just see the fireworks you felt them!
The Dolphin and it's beds :)
Glazed Almonds - DW's favourite :)
Christmas dinner in Le Cellery :)
Service from FL Tours - couldn't fault them, always on time and confirmed pick up times the day before :)
Most of our meals in WDW

Lows:
Friendships Boats - a bit on the slow side!
Japanese tourists - don't seem to understand waiting in line!
Weather early on in the holiday - a bit damp :(
Crowds after about the 23rd :(
Changed menu and pour service in Ohana :(
Delay flying home - just over an hour, but could have been worse after we read about the snow back in the UK!
Coming home to cold and rain :(

I've took plenty of notes for trip reports and around 300+ photos :)

Looking forward to your trippies! BadBadBad flight crew!

Welcome back.... am looking forward to reading your trip reports. :)

Wow, Tim - that's gone by quickly. After all the planning it's almost obscene! Time to start planning for the next one. 2025? ;)

Tim, I was just thinking about you today!

It sounds like you had a great time despite the weather!

Can't wait to hear some more when you have de-jetlagged :)

Can't believe that you are home already Tim.

Sounds as though you had a fantastic time ~ Can't wait for the trip reports.

Welcome back Tim. Glad to here you enjoyed the trip.

Were the holiday fireworks in Epcot mostly white? I remember them as covering the entire sky as far as you could see. It was as light as in the middle of the day.
As you say, you can actually feel them.

Best get back to work as chat host straight away, it's been such hard work while you've been away. ;)

The holiday fireworks were a mixture of white, green and red. One boat driver told us that they let off more fireworks during the special holiday fireworks finale than in the whole of Illuminations!
At they end they just fired so many simultaneously that it was just deafening. You could feel the shock waves hit you as you stood and watched!
