First, another thank you for the many good thoughts, prayers so many have had for Marie. I would also thank for our two other DIS ladies having surgeries today, Jeafl (Jill), a breast biopsy also, and AZKathy (Kathy), having spinal laser surgery, sure looking for updates and good news from them both when possible.
Our day started this morning about 8 AM at the hospital, pre-op stuff for Marie. Then she had to go to the Breast Center to have wire locating markers inserted in the three different areas needing biopsies. LONG mammograms were required for this part of the setup, all told, took about an hour. Then back to pre-op, with about a noon roll-in to surgery (56 surgeries were on schedule for today). Marie's surgery took about 2 1/2 hours, general anesthesia. They excised 3 different areas. Then about one hour in initial recovery, and about two more in the next, with me able to be there for the second. We left about 5:30, a stop for Vicodin on the way home, got home around 6:30 and Marie is sleeping now.
Hope to have the results by Monday at the latest. Again, can't thank you guys enough, much appreciated, as always. Continued prayers and good wishes are with Jill and Kathy.
