It is cooling down... it's only in the high 80s - not the low 90s!

Hey Maria the 6:35 flight on Friday?!??! We'll be on that one, too, and probably your ME bus to POP! :)

triplefigs......

what MK were you at this past Saturday? I was there too and Fantasyland was packed!!! 60 minutes waits on everything and splash mountain was a 50 minute wait. Are you talking about Saturday Sept 23rd?? I wish I stuck with you seems like you hit it right.

We leave Thursday nite for a long weekend and the Halloween party. Nervous about the lovebugs-never had to deal with them before and I hate bugs!

Yes, Sat the 23rd. We got there around 1pm and left at 6pm. Rode Peter Pan twice without even getting off. Dumbo had a long line, but Pooh was 10-20 minutes, Peter Pan was the same, IASW walk on, no line at Aladdin's Carpets.

Splash Mountain was HORRIBLE that day (even the CM said it was really bad). Maybe because it was so hot? It was 40 minutes with a fast pass, so we skipped it. Walked right on Big Thunder Mountain with no wait at all. Liberty Belle was a walk on too.

Weekends are ALWAYS Crowded, due to Locals. ;) Tues-thurs is usually not very busy. ;)

We also went to the MK on Saturday the 23rd. We were there from 10am - 7pm. Peter Pan was a 15 minute wait around 11am and then it got busier as the day wore on. Our longest wait was for POTC....we couldn't believe that the que line stretched outside the ride building!!! Once inside and on the ride the boats were back to back and stopped for most of the ride. Mickey's Philharmagic was a walk-on......but everything else was at least a 15 minute wait. Cosmic Rays was empty at 11:30am when we sat down for lunch.....no lines.

How long does the Food and Wine Festival last? Is it really crowded? And what about the rides?

Can't wait, leaving tomorrow!! I'm counting on busier at the weekend and quiet during the week.

F&W lasts through part of November. It does get REALLY crowded on the weekend nights, if you don't like crowds I'd advise you to stay away during this time. During the week it will "lighten" up but this becomes more and more popular every year.

As far as crowds go, Sept. is nearing an end and the crowds will start to increase into Oct. For those of you leaving this week KEEP IN MIND that for MANY schools across the country it is a 3 day weekend. Schools all over FL have off on Monday so expect it to be pretty busy this weekend. And it will probably continue to pick up as October begins with the new celebration.

MK will be very busy on the weekend nights because it closes early some of the other nights for MNNSHP.

As far as the love bugs go, well, only mother nature will be able to take care of that one. ;)

the next weekend (October 7-9) is Columbus Day, another 3-day weekend for many people across the country. Magic Kingdom hours were extended by an hour on Saturday and Sunday from what they were originally published a few months ago.

Having said that, I was able to get some ADRs for the next week (9-10-11-12) shich gives me a little hope for a quieter week after a BUSY weekend.
