The story so far..............
En route to Orlando
Were Here!
In America at last
Loved Sandford airport, so easy to get in and out of. Collected the keys for our car and I thought Hey up its a bit chilly here! It was only 7pm local time and I expected extreme heat! Found our car, a navy Dodge sport, very nice. Off we set for I Drive.
Dont use I4 they said
Itll be to busy they said ..
Fifteen minutes later were cruising along I4
We didnt mean to ignore their advice, it just happened that way. Anyway, traffic was fine, found our Hotel no problem. Checked into Summerfield suites , very posh I might add,. We got a ground floor apartment, as requested, so we go and find room 127. First impressions, LUVLY JUBLY! We only had the Parc Corniche for comparison and it was more up to date than that, if a little smaller. It managed to get smaller as the holiday progressed
Im not the tidiest of people and that doesnt alter on holiday!
We unpacked a few bits and I suggested MacDonalds for supper, sad I know, but Marc was starving, he hardly ate on the plane, and I knew hed love to go there, so we went to the one on the corner of Sandlake. Its fabulous taking that first leisurely cruise along International Drive, we really felt like wed come home.
It was actually very nice food at MacDs. The kids love squirting their own sauce, and re-filling their drinks.
Back to the hotel and straight to bed, it was 3.45am in England, and we were struggling to stay awake.
I didnt think much to our bed, it was only a double, we have a kingsize at home, and it was a kingsize on our last trip, but not this time. When I say it was like sleeping on cloud 9 that is not supposed to be a compliment to Tony
Soft or what! It was the Hippo and the Duckling effect
Ahem
I WAS THE DUCKLING

Tony was awake for hours trying to suss the Air con, he was baking, sorted it eventually.
Next, Ill tell you about our first proper day and Jordans excitement at finding Vans skatepark (this was the be all & end all of his trip!)
Join me, same time, same place ..next week
