We stayed there for the 1st time last Dec and LOVED it!!!! We're going back this Oct.
As others have said, the landscaping is beautiful and the grounds are lovely to stroll. Taking the boat to DTD can't be beat. It was nice walking over to see POR too. We didn't book a carriage ride but I think that would have been nice. It is a relatively compact resort which is nice. Easy to get to the foodcourt, pool, buses and boat. Bus svc is wonderful. You're the 1st p/u and the 1st d/o. We were able to swim several of the nights during our dec trip. Temps were in the high 70s still at night. Though a few days later when we transfered to a diff't hotel for dh's business trip it was rainy and in the 50s. You never know what you'll get in Dec.
The foodcourt was good, not as large a selection as ASMo but much better than POR (in my humble opinion). True, no TS restaurant, but that's ok, we tend to do those in the parks or Monorail resorts.
I think you will really love the hotel. Oh, do you have children? The pool has a great water slide coming out of a sea serpent. You can go to allearsnet.com and see some great pics.
