We're going back!

DH and I have been talking about a trip to WDW as we've been through a very stressful time lately (and need a well deserved rest! ) so today I've booked our flight!

I was very fortunate to have booked Can Jet out of Hamilton (John C. Munro Airport) for the great price of $59.00 each person, each way. BUT by the time the taxes and surcharges are added up the total came to $510.00 for both of us so I feel I still got a great deal and didn't want to wait any longer to book. We leave on Nov 20 and return Dec 4th! We'll be spending time with my cousins from the UK at Cypress Pointe Resort and also will be there to celebrate our 33rd. Wedding Anniversary! Can you tell I'm excited? I've also wanted to be able one day, to fly out of Hamilton for a long time as we live only about a 10 minute drive from the airport.

Well I'm off to start planning!

Congrats on the great deal on airfare and your 33rd anniversary. What's your secret I'm sure you'll have a great time! There's nothing like going somewhere warm during the winter.

I'm running around today trying to get things packed to head up north tomorrow to my DB's cottage on an island and all I can think about is this trip in November!

The planning is half the fun for me and telling my cousin (they live in the UK) on the phone yesterday was great too as I casually said (after telling them we wouldn't be making the trip this year) "just wondering if you all were available to have dinner with us to celebrate our anniversary?" she hesitated and then bursts out cheering as they really want us to join them.

Jo I really think I did pretty good too with the air fares and am looking forward to trying Can Jet and John C Munro airport sooooo close to home!

Kim you can just imagine the stress around here lately and we just thought about it and decided that life is too short and whatever our future brings we will live day to day and enjoy the moment.
And yes 33 years with one guy! lol not bad for me being 16 and he just turning 20.
I know you and John will love your Anniversary cruise next month and I can't wait to hear all about it.

Bunnyfoo the only secret I have for our long and mostly happy marriage is to make sure you marry a guy who has lots of tolerance for his wife and tons of patience for her too!

Now back to looking for car rentals!

Hi Deb! So nice to "see" ya!

I just love all the planning that goes into a trip and for me that's always fun. Especially leaving from Mount Hope........we've always dreamed about that, and the time flight times are great....leaving 11:30 am and the returning flight leaves at 3:15 pm so no getting up and making our way to Pearson in the middle of the night.

Also I checked Can Jet for our same flight this past week and it's shot up to $758.00! WOW! I'm so glad I booked when I did.

Yes my son flew air transat in april and paid about 512 then he needed a pickup in the middle of the night 2.a.m. that cost to toronto and back home was another 120 out of his pocket. Mount Hope would have been perfect for him. I am glad you were one of the lucky ones to get the good rate.


Just saw your post on Susan's update from wdw, they must be having a ball, I didn't realize that Julie was going to wdw at the same time.

Well I am off to watch Copps with hubby.
