I hate to hear that about work. I have been stressing too. Dale goes in on the Friday we leave and I worry that once he gets in they will say he can't go early. They haven't done it before, but I still stress. His boss thinks Dale eats, sleeps and breaths that place. I have been stressing about mine because on Wednesday our assistant nurse manager's husband had to have emergency double heart bypass surgery so she is out at least 6 weeks with him. I think all the stress has alot to do with why I haven't been getting over this crud so good.

I hope it all goes well at the meeting and you don't have to stay but one night. That is alot of money.

Mini rant ahead...

So yesterday at almost 4pm the VP of Engineering stops by and says "hey Leanne did anyone talk to you today about going to CAT next week?" I say no. He says well we need you to go up next Thursday and Friday. I immediately swell up. I say "I'm on vacation next Friday sorry". He says well we really need you to go. It has to be you. You are the only one who can sit across from Paul and make this problem go away. (This is a $147K problem one of his engineer's created and I will be going ot Peoria IL). I tell him sorry. So he says he is going to try to get it rescheduled for Wed and Thurs. Still I dont' want to go. I don't want to be stressing about this encounter before our trip. This also means I have to get everything done this weekend because I will be too tired on Friday from the 8 hour drive each way. Lindsey will have to stay with the neighbor to make school and Josie will have to stay with my folks who are more than an hour away. So much hassle.

I know I'm being a baby and it could be worse I know but it just stinks. I'm getting over it slowly but surely. Sorry for the vent...just wanted to get it out of my system.

Ugggh!! I am so sorry!! That really stinks. Brent is leaving Monday morning for a conference in Kentucky (up near Louisville) and he will be there through Thursday evening. Thankfully my mother-in-law is coming up to help me get ready for our trip. (((HUGS))) Leanne!!

Sorry about your work hassle . I understand about having all your planning disrupted. Our DSL hasn't worked for 4 days and it has been raining nonstop as you know. I love the girls outfits, the Marie skirt & Tops are adorable! I have a question for you. We have never parked at BNA before. How does it work if I let Tom drop us off at the curb? Can we check him in too or do they need him there? Should we wait for him before we go to the gate? this is new to me, last year we used parking spot. Figured t would be easier to just park at the airport and less germy too . Hope you are getting everything done . 7 more days !!

I didn't get near enough done but I'm still keeping my head up. I checked in online the day before going both ways and I checked the bags under me and the girls. We usually only have 2 or 3 bags so it works well. By the time I got through the line to check our bags he was right there with us. On the way back me and the girls got our luggage from baggage claim and he went and got the van. That worked out almost perfectly also.

I'm am really going to need this trip after this meeting. The guy I"m squaring off with is such a butthead (to put it very nicely). I'm just concerned that if it doesn't go well and the company loses 145k, I will be the one held responsible and it really isn't my project.

Happy Mother's Day to you too! Weekend was way too short. Went to my Mom's today and spent the morning, then went to the grocery, then dinner, then the park, and now I"m catching up on the DIS while the girls are in the shower. I've gotten everything washed and folded just need to start counting and putting it into our luggage. I'm making a list of things for Joe to pick up Mon and Tuesday when he is off during the day. I still have so much to do. I took some pics at the mini-corvette challenge. I'll try to get some uploaded before we head to WDW.. How was your weekend?

Thanks Connie! I promise I will try to get that pic taken. I saw it this morning on top of Lindsey's table and I just need to take a pic of it. ONly 5 more days to go! I just keep trying to think of that and moving forward. I really, really don't want to go but I dont' see any way out at this point.

I do wait for Joe before I go through security so that he can help me wrangle the kids, stroller, carryons. Last year we flew out really early on the way to MCO so there was no curbside. If there is curbside I will definitely take advantage of it. No problem about the questions. Only 5 more days!!!

Just wanted to come wish you a safe and wonderful flight to the Magical place!!! We'll be on our way while ya'll are still sleeping!! Can't wait to meet up, and thank you so much for offering to send us misting fans. I'm so glad I finally found some though. Our stores just kept telling me, well, we'll be getting some in soon, within the next few weeks or so. See , it's been in the 50's here, so with the economy the way it is, what store is going to order those right away!!!!
