Lindsey only wants to shop at Dillards and Justice. If you don't catch a sale at Justice it can be pricey. Glad my girls aren't the only small ones

Glad you made it through the storms okay also. We had a hail storm and tornado here in 1998. I was in a training seminar at a local hotel. We had hail there before the tornado touched down right behind us. The hail was softball sized and totalled the car I had bought only a week prior. It sounded like a train was going through the place. I will never forget that sound coupled with breaking glass. It scared me and now I just hate storms. Lindsey missed the four days last year (again because of weather). She didn't mind it at all. She only missed movie day and field day. No loss really. A day at WDW is much better than that.

We try to always have a coupon when going to Justice. It's so overpriced and doesn't really wash up nice like Gymboree. I know Gymbo is so expensive but it is good quality at least. Golf ball sized hail and the tornado how scary. I can see why you hate storms. They had a Tornado here in 1999 (before we moved here) and it wiped out half the town. Does Lindsey's school ever give you a hard time if she misses days. They are so strict here about the 5 days per school year . She will be missing 8 total for the year with the last week. But she is a straight A student and does great on TCAPS and fund raisers. I really hope they don't give me a hard time. usually it's not a problem since the principal knows us well. But it seems like the "No child left Behind" getting more involved is becoming a problem. I priced private school yesterday but I don't think I will be able to do that. Hope you are Dissing today and not working too hard .

kaysmommie: The quote thingy didn't work right for some reason??? I have a 30% off coupon I may try to use but I think starting this weekend the whole store is 30% off. Too bad you can't get another 30% off because that would make their prices reasonable.

The school hasn't given me a hard time yet. I talked to her teacher in Feb and she said it would be fine and I sent a note to the principal over the weekend. She still hasn't responded. In our county 3 days without good cause is considered truancy and the parents are taken to court. Being that testing is over when we are leaving and all they will be doing is goofing off I don't see a problem. We'll see. Lindsey's school is brand new and in its second year. I'm not very impressed with the principal. I loved her teacher last year but the one this year is just okay. I checked out private school too but I wouldn't be able to afford WDW if I did that I honestly feel that public school is the best option though. I don't want her heading to college overwhelmed. Unfortunately I am at work today but I am dissing at lunch..

Something cool happened today. The first leg of our flight went down. Went online and made a few clicks and now we have a $52 credit for our next trip. Funny thing is that the second leg went up so if I had booked the whole trip it wouldn't have been any cheaper. I'm going to keep my eyes on this and hopefully get enough credit built up for a good start on a dream trip during December. It probably won't happen but a girl can dream right


Anyone besides me wishing that all email had the little smilies? I'm having a hard time emailing without them after posting so often on the boards.

I don't know if it would be girls only or not. Joe is starting to enjoy our WDW vacations too. I really want to see the Christmas decorations at WDW. I tried to plan it for this past year but life got in the way.

So I booked another vehicle today. I don't know if I will keep the ressie or not but Alamo is running a special $199 for a minivan for a week. Total price for renting at the WDW Alamo is $251. If you book at the MCO Alamo it is $264 (if I stay at the airport an extra 6 hours and don't pay an extra day for the 6 hour difference between our arrival and departure). That is pretty reasonable. I have a convertible reserved for one day and it is almost $80 so I may just go with the van for the entire week. Cool part about renting from the WDW Alamo is that they will shuttle us back and forth from the resort. I save an extra day rental because our inbound flight arrives at 11:20am and the flight out departs at 7:05. I won't have to pay for an extra day if I use WDW alamo and Magical express. Does any of that make sense? I can't believe a van is cheaper than a compact car!!

First off for 45 more days!! I can't wait either. Also great that you were able to get a credit on the flight out . I would keep the minivan rental for the week. Then again other than the beach do you really need a car at Disney? I thought the bus service was pretty good at CBR. We only had one issue and that was a bad driver who swerved and was off and on the gas until I had whiplash. I think he might have drunk or something so i did make a call to transportation so they could check it out. It was kind of scary. So loos like we are going to be getting bad weather here again tonight, this will be me. If your in the area for the storms. stay safe.

I did the Alamo Mini Van - 199 for the week! I also saw that one leg of my trip has gone down. If I already purchased I don't get a credit do I ? If so, how do you go about that??
