We're Goin' in June!

Hey--I'm going in June, too, with my DD14 and DNiece18. (Grad presents for the 2 girls). We haven't booked a room yet--leaning toward Candy Cane Inn. We've enjoyed DLH and GC before, but are looking to save some money this time.
Anyone have any thoughts about the CCI regarding the walk to DL/CA/DTD? Will 3 females be safe wandering around there?

Yes you will be totally safe, your hotel is so close to the main gates and you will always be with a bunch of Disney park guests travelling in that location. Especially since there are like umpteen million hotels and eateries in that area and being on a main road. Also in DTD its always busy as well, so you are quite safe as well. I wouldnt even be surprised if DTD was patrolled as there are tons of shops and everything down that way and being so close to a family park. Someone will have to keep order.

I'm wodering about clothes. I was planning shorts and t's with a fleece or sweatshirt for evening. Do I need pants or long sleeves for mid June?

We're going to Disneyland for the first time too!!! Also staying at HoJo's June 5th-12th. Wow, we really do need a whole wing for just the DISer's!!!

For June its very very warm and beautiful all during the day. You can wear t-shirts, tank tops, capris pants, shorts and sandles just like you would on hot summer days, but come the evening its still quite chilly. I would recommend for the evening that you go back and put some pants on if your wearing shorts or keep socks in your bag if your wearing capris and bring along a hoodie or a medium weight jacket.

I love going in June, some nights you find that you need the jackets and others its quite bareable without it. But you will more so need something medium weight. So yes a sweatshirt is perfect.

This is the time of year we try to go to the DLR for the weather. It will be chilly in the morning and some nights. It looks like there will be alot of people from Disboards there in the first week in June.

That's SO AWESOME!! I hope you have a terrific time. It's such an awesome place. I grew up with DL, and no matter how many times I go to WDW, there's just no place like home... DL. I was just there 2 weeks ago, and get to go again in April - I cannot wait. I'm thankful to have an employer based in Irvine!

We've booked HoJo's June 1-5! I haven't been to Disneyland for 20 years! This will be my 8 year old daughter's first time!! What can we expect for line-up's for that time?
