So sorry to hear that your DH got called back early...glad everything is ok though!! Your DHS plans look great! We have never done Sci-Fi...I will be interested to see what you think about it!

Your burp cloths are so pretty!! I couldn't pick a favorite...they are all adorable!

Yay for just 3 weeks til you close on the house! That's awesome!!

It's o.k. I was very disappointed at the time but I was able to accomplish a lot of embroidery and school lessons last week that I wouldn't have done otherwise. It's all good!

I can't wait to share all about our meals!! They are all new to us except Captain's Grille so it will definitely be interesting!

In honor of our 100th day tomorrow, I decided to finally book the first part of our split stay!!! YAY me!!!! FINALLY!!!

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep, DH decided that he wanted to go back to Caribbean Beach for the first two nights. (since he had such fond memories of it from the first trip...... ) lol......

So we will spend our first two nights at Caribbean Beach.

lol We are staying in one resort this time. I'm trying to get my husband used to the idea of split stay.

We have never done a split stay. I'll see how I like this but I think it's going to take up too much time to move. I should have just booked all of our nights at Beach Club from the beginning. I was too cheap at the time and am regretting it now! lol.....oh well....

Too funny your dh wants to stay at the resort where he was sick on that trip.
I hope it turns out better this time.
Moving isn't that bad. When we move dvc resorts we have bell service move our luggage for us. It is really simple. Plus online check in now makes it very smooth. I wouldn't do as many moves as we did last time, but just the 1 shouldn't be so bad.

We are driving this trip so I don't think moving will be too bad. We've also planned it on a day where we are taking it easy but then again we are supposed to be doing that all trip.

As for DH, I think he realizes that we all really enjoyed Caribbean Beach and he wants to see if he can make some new memories there. Poor thing only saw the inside of the room the whole time last time.

Last night I started second guessing my meal plan decision. I know I'm better off with no dining plan but it would be easier to have the dining plan and I'm only $400 off without counting snacks or the fact that I could add two more meals with the dining plan or even that I wouldn't have to share my plate each time OR that we would get desserts we never get around to eating. UGH.....DH said to go ahead and just get dining plan but I don't know. Would we get $400 more out of it? It gives me a headache just trying to plan it out. lol.....

Well have a great Friday!! I actually have a conference to attend tomorrow for work so no weekend for me but we will have a good time.

Sounds like your DH is a thoughtful guy.
About the AP, if I remember correctly you have at least 1 AP, are you planning on getting the TIW card? If so, don't forget to figure in the 20% you save from that. Or for that matter even if your not getting TIW, remember you get 10% from the AP's. I agree for some reason the DDP seems convenient, but why do we feel that way? We almost always pay cash, and never have very seldom run into any problems. And we ran into a problem with out DDP when they first came out, so I figure it balances out for convenience. Either way you'll have great food & fun.
