Just got back from our first track meet of the season!! Here are my results:

100m Hurdles- 5th place (out of 6)...not too good, but today, about half an hour before the meet was the first time I'd done them this season! I was doing alright until I went over one of the last hurdles with my right leg leading, rather than my usual left leg lead and almost fell backwards!

Shot Put- My farthest throw was 16.05 feet...not great either, but I'm not exactly built for shot put, so I consider it a decent throw!

4x2 Relay- Our relay team came in 1st for the 8th grade girls!!

200m Dash- By far my favorite event! I came in first for my heat, 33 seconds (again, not great, but okay considering it was my first meet running in the knee brace). I'll have to find out tomorrow how I compared to the 8th grade girls in the other heat.

Again, I'm sorry I've been gone sooo long! Why is the end of the year so much busier than the beginning?!?

Went shopping today with Goofy, her mom, my family and my Grandma Z and I got my promotion dress! It is mid-thigh length and kind of colorful...I couldn't find a picture of it...but it's from Macy's.

I'll post another one of our day plans tonight, but in the meantime, any creative ideas for things to do with those Mickey paint chip heads? We were at Home Depot and managed to get 60 home with us! We already have a countdown chain, so I didn't want to make another countdown, but I'm not sure what to do with them...any ideas would be appreciated!

I've read about people on here having boxes that they keep their Disney stuff in in preparation for an upcoming trip. I decided that would be a good idea, so I started a Disney Basket (cause I couldn't find a big enough box ). So far the contents of our basket are:

-the t-shirts our grandma got us to wear on the first day
-My Mickey Mouse "Roll Tide" shirt
-A Tinkerbell shirt I got the other day
-The ponchos from our 2008 trip
-Pedometers that my parents got recently
-My lanyard
-Thing2's lanyard
-A Tinkerbell light up toy
-A Minnie Mouse fanny pack I plan to fill with fruit snacks for Thing3, who conveniently likes to get hungry right after we finish eating!
-Our Ear Hats

As the trip gets closer I will add stuff like ADR confirmation # cards and a pack of "Line Games" for Thing2 and Thing3. The basket is overflowing already though, and we still have 47 days left!

Where has time gone?! We are going to Disney World in 13 days! I can't believe it has gotten sooooo close!! Since we've made just a couple of dining changes, here are our updated and hopefully final ADRs:

6/9: Yak and Yeti

6/11: Liberty Tree Tavern

I think we finally have what we want. I'm not entirely happy with Hollywood and Vine, but Mom and Dad wanted to do the Fantasmic! Dinner Package, and that was all that was available, so I took it. Also, June 10th, disneypolyprincess and I will be having our DIS Teen Meet at the Magic Kingdom!!

Finally, Thing2 and I decided what we want to do to surprise our parents. Instead of ordering the cooler of snacks from Disney Florist, we purchased a really cute Disney beach blanket online. We are going to Downtown Disney the afternoon of the 4th, so Thing2 and I are going to escape and buy some snacks at Goofy's. We plan to keep the beach blanket and snacks in my tote bag, and after dinner (1900 Park Fare) suggest we ride the monorail over to the Poly to watch Wishes from the beach. Hopefully they'll be surprised!
