Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to stop in and say THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me with my questions the past day or two!! We have decided to take the plunge!! I should receive my member number by tomorrow! We're very excited! My Husband told me it's an early Birthday Present for me (I turn 40 in December!!)... however, it counts as my birthday gift for the next 50 years!!!!!!! LOL

I'd love to know where everyone gets the great DVC signature gifs.

Thanks guys! Yes, we bought direct! Probably silly, but just easiest for us. We were between PV and CCV, but we have a love for WL!! I just didn't think I'd get that same homey feeling as I do with WL!

Not yet at CCV. We have stayed at WL and love it there. We are taking our first DVC trip in a few weeks and staying at BW.

I've been asking him if he's changed his mind about DVC at least twice a day! I personally think it's a great vacation investment. Anyways, I'm happy for you and hope to join the club one day!

I understand. My husband didn't love the high MD's, but we honesty didn't like another resort as much as we did WL! Make sure you call and ask all the questions you need answered! We travel to Disney every year and are actually kicking ourselves that we didn't do it sooner! Have you stayed at WL before? It's such a beautiful resort! Good luck to you!! I hope he changes his mind!!!

I've never been to WL, but the photos I've seen thus far of CCV are gorgeous! I love the cozy/rustic feel with modern touches. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on-site anymore! The last time we've been to WDW was in 2011 when my husband proposed to me. We've been meaning to go back the last few years, but other things got in the way. We're in our early 30's, so there have been a lot of weddings to travel out-of-state for. Also, I got pregnant last year and didn't see a point in going to WDW if I couldn't go on most of the rides.

I've only been to WDW twice as an adult and both times stayed in value resorts. I was a poor student then and didn't have much of a choice but to stay in the most affordable option while being on-site. My preferences have definitely changed since the last time. I don't think I would want to stay in anything less than deluxe now just from browsing photos of different Disney resort rooms on TripAdvisor.

I wish the direct DVC financing wasn't such a rip off! If the interest wasn't so crazy high, I'm pretty sure my husband would agree to buy since sometimes I think he's more of a Disney fan than me!

LOL Sounds like you've had a lot of great things going on! Congrats!!! I totally agree about not wanting to stay anywhere but a deluxe! I'm the same way!! We only stayed off property when we first started going! Our first time on property, my husbands co-worker convinced us to stay WL CL (he loves WL and is always there!) I was INSTANTLY hooked the second I stepped into the lobby!! He ruined us forever lol It will all work out! If not, just try to visit when discounts are offered!!
