So we get to DAK in no time flat and have an AWESOME spot!! i mean we can WALK right in!! well...it's still quite a hike esp. when pushing a giant stroller (well i mean WATCHING DH push the giant stroller looked like hard work!!)


We got in ad it was WALL TO WALL PEOPLE!!! we could not get over how crowded it was!! oh well first things first!!!



FOOD!!!



Sooo off we went to our FAVE dining place at AK! Tusker House in Africa!! YUMMY!!

The chocolate cake was TO DIE FOR and the kids shared a mac and cheese plate!! Everything was sooo good, but here is what was NOT GOOD!


The place was LOADED! DH managed to snag a spot while i was in line and right after i dished out the food, a family came and asked how long we would be???
I let them know we just got seated and it would be a while since we still had to feed the little guy too!

Well they SAT on the FLOOR and WATCHED us EAT?!?!?!?!

i'm NOT KIDDING! it was like we had an audience!! I turned my chair out, so my back was to them and chatted with my DH that way! then i glanced around and there were families all around WAITING FOR TABLES!! i know it's busy, but do you have to STAKE out a table?!?!

In my OP it was rude! but DH offered them our cake since we shared one and the other was going to be tossed!

They declined!

FOOD: A+
People Watching: B (we kind of felt like celebs, so it wasn't that bad!)

I even took out the baby wipes and wiped the table down for them when we were done!

Well we headed to the Safari and the line said 90 minutes! YIKES! and the fast passes were for late in the afternoon, so we knew the kids would be napping by then... we decided to head to the front of the park and check out the times board! we could barely move AT ALL!!! Once we got to the front, all the rides had tremendous waits, and people were shoving from all directions that we just decided to leave

We went to DAK and all we got was lunch! hahaha!! that's too crazy!!

so we head back to our car and....

ooo here comes the tram, pretend this is our car, so we don't look like idiots to everyone on board!

seriously! we will look like wierd-os wandering the lot!

Well we looked like BIGGER wierdos to the family the DEBOARDED the tram and the car that we were pretending was OURS was really THEIRS!!!

That's like a ONE IN A MILLION CHANCE!

soo we explain and they laugh and we laugh and I ask:
"Do you DIS?"

They look at me even WIERDER NOW! and answer NO and i breath a sigh of relief that i will not have to return home and find a post about me here! hhaahaha!!

so after hanging out by the pool, eating in the court and vegging, we decide to give AK another try! it's about 330 when we head out and we know they close at 5pm, but we HAVE TO HAVE HAVE TO try and ride Everest!!!

We park the car uneventfully and DEFINATELY leave a message for ourselves as to where we are parked! We even wrote it down and stuffed it in the Diaper Bag just in case! Sal drew the line at calling MIL and telling her where we parked so that we have a PLAN C, i still think that's a good idea!

We enter the gates and people are STREAMING opposite of us! so this is a GREATsign! we check out the tip board thing and there is a 5 minute wait for EVERYTHING!!!! we head out and get to EE first! I go first!!!

**SIDE NOTE**
This was pre-determined about 6 months ago when i called it at like midnight in bed! haha!! i actually woke up my DH and told him, that i wanted to ride EE first! He was so tired he just agreed and rolled over!! well i never forgot!!!!


We each have our walkies and at this time the ride says 20 minutes so i decide to do baby swap and then DH won't have to wait so long!!

awwww.... i'm soo sweet i know!

hahah!!

When i get to the guy he asks to see the other member of my party..ohh MAN! DH had taken off to get water about 20ft away and his walkie was not on. THEN i remembered!!

DMM:
oh he's that guy over there holding the little boy and pushing the stroller

how do i know he is with you?


DMM:

Umm...well all 4 of us are in matching outfits...i think that kind of gives it away!

CM:

haha!! i guess so!

I totally forgot we had our outfits on!
DH gets great video footage of me on the ride and i manage to do the same! it's awesome and the ride was worth riding all the times that we did it! We took photos and videos of eachother each time!

LOVED IT!!

We had plenty of time to do loads of stuff!!! Since the kids are little we didn't do:
Dinosaur
Primevil Whirl
Kali
and the shows
Tough to be a bug

BUT WE WERE able to do pretty much everything else in the last hour the park was open! we just had to move fast and do NO shopping! it was GREAT!!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY advise to do this! we got SOOO much done! even a Safari with only 3 rows filled!!!

We get to the car no problem after closing and head over to EPCOT!!! It was time to EAT AROUND THE WORLD!!!!

EPCOT was LOADED and we ended up sneak parking.....

i know i may get blasted for this, but by the evening soooo many people have left the parks that those front rows are EMPTY! soooo we snuck allllllll the way FWD and saw that 3 cars followed us!!! we got GREAT front row like parking and as we started unloading one of the ladies driving said that WE looked like we had done this before so they decided to follow and were glad they did! another guy gave us the thumbs up sign!! We felt cool!

Nothing too crazy happened at EPCOT except to say that i FINALLY got to visit the EPCOT baby care center and i REALLY liked it! It says no strollers, but as soon as you enter there is a little couch and alcove there and DH pulled the stroller in and out of hte way and waited indoors to keep the little one cool, while i changed the other.

The CM here was FRIENDLY and kept the place SPOTLESS! i loved using the bathroom here for the parents too!! soo clean and GREAT!

Needless to say i am a huuuuuge baby care center fan!!!

NOW on to the F&W festival!

We saved ALL our snack credits to eat at the F&W festival!! it worked out GREAT this way! We also ONLY used the credits on items OVER 3$ that way we only had to pay OOP for the cheaper things!! we were determined to do it all!!! we are a teenie lunch so we were READY!!!!!!!

I will just be posting my review of the yummies! as there was really nothing amusing to us stuffing our face to near explosion! haha!!!

ohhh..just one thing.....

DH dropped the diaper bag into the fountain in Morrocco! He was about to sit down and he tripped and EVERYTHING went flying!haha!! his coke, his tray of napkins and some kind of pastry...and the diaper bag!!!

It was like i saw it allll in slow motion!!!! i couldn't do anything to stop him!?!?! he just kept fallllliiiinnnnngggg.......


I was laughing sooo hard i peed my pants!! (okay not really, but maybe a little!)

The GOOd thing was that his pastry was still edible!
Bad thing/.....

Diaper bag FLOATING in the fountain!

I had to reach in to get it and could only IMAGINE what people were thinking!!


hmmm....I can only imagine what you guys think of us!! we are very accident prone, but we find it too funny every time! I think insanity just follows us!! i really feel for our poor kids!!

WHEW!!! the diaper bag was that cheap-o one they give you from the hospital (i figured i could just throw it away if it got too beat up!) and it was alll zipped up AND i carry EVERYTHING in seperate ziplock bags!!! soo nothing was wet except for the bag itself!! After tossing the bag into the bottom of the stroller, we just put all the ZIPS into a WDW plastic merchandise bag and we were set!

Hi all!!! Thanks for commenting on the TR!!! i am almost done with the F&W festival booths review!

It's taking forever b/c i have to make the fruit salads for tomorrow (2 houses!! AND i like to put the fruit in a hollowed out watermelon that looks like a basket!) AND bake the cookies! with 2 kids in the house, this is turning into the impossible! haha! so i decided to take a break while the kids were napping!! (even though this would be the perfect time to get all the kitchen stuff done!! )
