Were clothing sales as good last year at this time?

It seems that the stores that I've been to have some pretty amazing sales right now. I picked up $450 worth of children's clothing for the kids at Gymboree for $70 and a $25 Gymbuck. The clothes for my daughter should last her 2 years.

I've picked up 2 pairs of work pants, a pair of shoes, a suit jacket and about 7 various tops for under $100 all together from Banana Republic, New York & Co. and Target. I can't remember the last time I was able to get such good deals. The suit jacket alone was a gigantic steal; it was normally $70 and I got it for $8!

Well Justice is less then LTD2 for us. But my kids like Hollister and Pac sun which don't seem to have that great of prices. Also the prices for the brand names at Macys are insaane.
