You will get a good meal, the kids can be entertained so you should be able to relax and enjoy the meal. We had lunch there, so don't shy away from a Lunch vs Dinner ressie. It was an amazingly wonderful break after a full morning in MK.

So with the menu changes Le Cellier holds no appeal for us anymore.

Gawrsh, I hope this trend continues. I miss the days when I was one of the few people in that place. The internet ruined my "secret" place! :surfweb: lol

We just returned from our trip to WDW and had a lovely dinner at Le Cellier. Our waiter, Patrick, was exceptional, the best one we experienced in all of the parks and resorts and the equal of our wonderful servers on the Wonder. I'm not sure what to say about the changes in the menu. We both had the mushroom filet and it was excellent. They even let me have mine with the cream cheese mashed potatoes instead of what was listed on the menu. All that aside the reviews from Coral Reef sound interesting and next time we'll probably try that or Chefs, but we certainly will go back to Le Cellier again.

I debated between Coral Reef and Rose and Crown (if you get an outside table, at the right time, you could watch Illuminations, while finishing dessert). But, I voted for the Coral Reef because you said your DH was a picky eater and I figured the menu would make everyone happy, plus the kids will, probably, enjoy watching the fish.

Our family loved the Rose and Crown, plus we had great seats for viewing Illuminations :goodvibes

Thanks everyone. I think we're going with Coral Reef! I know the kids will love the aquarium, and I love seafood. DH is a major steak eater...filet, actually. The problem is...he is deathly allergic to mushrooms and now that the filet at LeCellier is the mushroom one...well, that pretty much precludes him from eating it. Thanks for your input!

:rotfl: :lmao: :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 My thoughts exactly, as I previously posted !! Please let them stay away if they "don't like the menu"- 'cause we love it - a trip to WDW would not be the same without a visit to our little place.

Well, when 2 of their most popular items left the building, I'm sure you'll start seeing more and more cancels.

The only reason I was looking forward to going back was the maple BBQ filet, I'm not interested in the mushroom one at ALL. So, LC went from one that I couldnt wait to go back to, to one that I really dont care to go to anymore.. They must've been tired of people complaining that they couldnt get ressies there. Well, seems maybe they've fixed that problem.

We're doing Coral Reef instead of Le Cellier as well this year. :thumbsup2

You didn't list our choice, Tutto Italia. So, given your list, I'd say Coral Reef for nothing less than the ambience.
