After much deliberation over whether or nor we could afford it without having 'saved up' as we usually do, my boyfriend and I have decided to book a trip to Florida for two weeks in November. We will fly out of Manchester (we live in Edinburgh) and hopefully stay over in an airport car park the night before (the deals which include parking seem great!). Since we're flying out on a Sunday and we get weekends off, we're hoping to travel to Manchester early on the Saturday morning and spend a relaxed day there (lunch, drinks, etc) then go for dinner and to see Wicked at the theatre (seems like such a nice pre-holiday treat!).
We're doing the first of many car boot sales this weekend as our goal is to cover the cost of our flexi passes through these (our target is to make £500...can we do it?! Last time we did one we made £180 and we have lots of junk in our trunk to sell
)
We're staying at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites at Universal (not the classiest, I know!) as we're going to be visiting US/IOA most this trip. We will, however, be having two days of park hopping fun in Disney and hopefully an overnight stay in Miami.
My question is, we've found a great deal online which includes our accommodation, flights (with meals, baggage etc) and a car. It's from a high street travel agent. Is it worth us going into that travel agent and also others on Saturday before we book and asking them to 'beat the price' or does this not happen these days?
xx
