We're Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back on the 4th from a wonderful Disney vacation. I was not ready to come home. Boardwalk Concierge was AWESOME with the exception of one person. Everyone made us feel welcome. The decorations were great. I was glad we had ADRs because every restaurant was turning people away when wer went. We had so many magical things happen. DD got to be in the Lion King show again along with DH. She also got to wake up Tinkerbell, ride the rollercoater with Goofy, be Chef of the Day at Crystal Palace, and got to be in one of the Boardwalk performances, She loved every minute of it. The Christmas party was ok. I really feel like we didn't get to see enough of it because of the crowds. We watched the later parade and it was still crowded. Got rained on Monday night and Tuesday morning but other than that the weather was great. I do have to agree that the parks were a lot more busy than I expected. By 1PM on Thursday, you could not walk through Fantasyland. Anway, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!!! I can't wait to go back!

does Goofy regularly ride the rollercoaster in Toontown? what time of day does this happen? my DD would love that.

We stood at Toontown opening for 1/2 hr. I think he is there about every day. When the rope dropped DD headed for the rollercoaster and he was standing there waiting by the entrance--it was very cool!!! Go for it!!!

that's what i thought you would say....at the opening of Toontown. we went there twice in 05 & waited for the opening - when opened we ran to the Princess Room....now that we know about the coaster....we'll hope to ride w/ Goofy.

How was your DD picked to be in Lion King? My girls were a few years back but I don't remember how it happened. Is there a certain place to sit or someone to ask? We were there early last year and siting in the front and not picked. It looked like they were getting kids from the side? Thanks for your help on this as my girls would love to do it again

Sounds like you guys had a magical time. On our next trip to WDW it will be in December. If you can, post some pictures of your vacation.
