WOWWWWIIEEEEEE!!! It was a wonderful magical trip!! We did USF/IOA for 4 days. Never done Universal. Stayed at Royal Pacific Resort. AWESOME resort...met a lot of wonderful friendly helpful people there. We liked Universal a lot...had a great time there. We love the FOTL...you can't beat that. Staying at the Universal resorts is definitely worth my money. I will talk about Universal at the Universal board.

Stayed at ASSp for 2 days. Purchased UPH...though we ended up not hopping at all...that's ok...no big deal.

MK was busy...no doubt. But it was doable for me and my two young kids (4 and 6). Fast Pass is a MUST!!

4/22- MK- first ride was Buzz. My son beat me...but I think there is something wrong with my lazer gun...but anyway... After that ride, we went and print out our fast pass. We ate brunch and did Dumbo and then went back to Buzz w/ FP. After Buzz, we print out another FP for Buzz...then we rode Peter Pan.

After Peter Pan...we had a snack...then headed back to Buzz. After Buzz...we went and took our afternoon break...back to to our resort.

Went back out at about 8pm. It took me about half hour trying to find where the heck is Adventureland. AHHHH....Finally. We found the Aladdin ride. The line was so short. Only 5 minute wait!! Everyone was getting ready for the Spectromagic and the fireworks. We decided to skip this one cause we already have seen it before...and the fireworks...well...we saw a lot of that at IOA from our Royal Pacific pool...it was AWESOME!! And we can also see the fireworks from our room, that was pretty kewl. I think there was fireworks every nite during Easter week. Anway...loosing track here... After we did Aladdin back to back...we went straight to Jungle Cruise...it was a really kewl ride. Then we went to Pirates of Carribean. The kids liked this ride a lot...especially my son. We rode this ride twice...and again..there is no line..no wait...It was awesome. Then we did Aladdin again for the third time...then we went back to our resort. We left the park at about 11pm. We wanted to beat the exit-ing crowds.

I know...I know...sounds boring...but hey...I am just glad that the important rides I wanted to ride and my kids wanted to ride we rode. And I was able to manage it during this busy crazy crowded week. So I am just glad we did fine.

4/23 Left the resort early in the morning...how early...8:30am...I guess that is not early to some of youss. We got there about 9pm. We got stuck at the main street...doing what...getting the characters autograph and picture taking. We were there for about 2 hrs. But it was worth it cause my kids got to see who they wanted to see and I got to see my favorite character which is Peter and Wendy. I was soooo happy to finally meet them!! After meeting the characters...guess what our first ride was...B--U--Z--Z!!!!...I think we are addicted to this interactive ride! After that ride...we we had brunch again. And guess who bumped into me...the talking trash can!! He was soo funny. His name by the way is "PUSH". I enjoyed talking to him. While my son and daughter was sitting at a table..they didn't get the chance to meet Mr. Push. I was telling my son about Mr. Push and my son just laughed at me and he didn't want to believe me...I don't blame him. I convinced him that there is a real talking trash can. So he wanted to look for him...so we just kind of walked from on e trash can to another and he was hoping he will bump into him. I just told him that the place is soo huge that we may not find him. He was ok with that. After brunch we rode of course Peter Pan. Then it was gettng a bit too hot for us...so we just head back to our room. I was planning to take a nap then head out to AK cause we have never been there since it opened. But the kids wanted to go swimming...so we did that for about 2 hrs. They had a great time. The pool was awesome! We used the baseball field pool and the kiddie pool.

Well...the heat and the walking and the swimming drained my kids energy...and mine...so we just took it easy and just stayed at our resort and rested.

I am very quite sure that the crowds will vanish after 4/27. Most of the folks are going back to school and going back to work.

Peter Pan ride was an hour wait. Buzz...we waited about 40 minute at first...then after the FP it was only about 15 minute wait. Dumbo was about 30 minute wait.

Since it was during the Spectromagic and fireworks. The wait for Aladdin was only 5 minute. Jungle Cruise was only 10 minute. Pirates of Carribean was no wait. It was great!! Missing Spectromagic and fireworks was soooo worth it!! The rides that I have been wanting to ride...I was able to do it with out any wait or too much wait.

Now....any questions???

The Splash Mountain...wow...the was looong! And there are other popular rides that you have to wait about an hour or so. I think the wait for Snow White or Pooh was about 70 minute wait!!

By the way...there is this lady at this store in Frontierland or Adventureland where they sell Hawiian stuff, she was teaching this gurl how to do hula...so my daugther and I joined. I ended up getting the Lilo grass skirt outfit. It was sooo kewl and enjoyed it...my son even did a little hula...they both got 4 mickey mouse stickers. They were so cute...I took some pix!!

Welcome back *Fantasia*. I'm glad you had such a great time.

This is a great trip report. I'm going to move it to the trip reports board for you after people have had a chance to ask any questions they might have.

Sounds like you had a great and magical trip. Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks Cali! Ahhh...you still remember me! We love ASSp!!..I thought it was a fun resort. We stayed in the Football section facing the court. The kids enjoyed the XXs and the OOs...they ran around. We walked around the resort..and checked out the other sections...It was pretty kewl!! We of course took lots of pix.

Planning to head back to Universal/Disney this June...Can't get enough of Mickey!!

...guess you don't like the Buzz ride, do ya;) ??!?!?

Glad to hear you had a wonderful vaca....PBH sounds wonderful! (and you certainly can't beat that FOTL!!)

(Hey, Cali ~ didn't you used to have a pic of GF on your siggie??)

Thanks kimmar067! I think we are Buzz-aholic! Can't get enough of that Buzz. I told my son not to get too upset if I beat his score.

I would never stay off sight...especially if doing Universal! FOTL rocks!!

Any questions??

This time we are doing Universal only for 3 nights...then Disney for 5 nights. I like to finish our vacation with full force "Magic"!

You know it!! You posted on my sister's thread re: poll for Univ/WDW split (with RPH/Poly, PBH/AKL, etc.;) )

*Fantasia*, of course I remember you! Still haven't tried ASSp, but have stayed at Music twice. We might end up staying at Sports for a night in October, if we decide to go. :)

And kimmar, do I need to put the GF picture back up? Probably. (BWV is our DVC home resort, thus the picture)

...no, that's okay. I'm the sort of person that associates people I see (when driving) with their vehicle. I guess it's the same with their siggies!:D

I am so glad you and the kids went back and had a great time!

What are your plans for June?

Glad to hear you and your kids had a good time.

Was COP open?

I can relate to the Buzz thing. When DS and I was there in 2001, we rode Buzz plenty of times. (son was 9)

We must have rode Buzz about 15 times on eride night. The CMs would laugh every time we walked in the door. I couldn't get my son to leave. It was so much fun.
