Thank for joining us!! Dh wasn't always a "Disney" kind of person. Now he is hooked!! Both of the kids love Disney and the movies and the store. If you want to read another tag team report, pooksma and declansdad just started a Pre-Trip report! It was kind of ugly getting there (and even uglier to get out) I kind of spilled the beans.

Oh and Alyssin are those your dolls? I used to look those up on eBay all of the time. They are so beautiful!! I LOVE the Jack one!

We LOVE our MetroLite stroller! I worked out great. I love how easy it is to fold up and get on and off the busses with. The basket in the bottom worked out wonderful too. There was plenty of space to fit all of our stuff. We had a FULL backpack two camera bags DS would sometimes put his bag in it and many of DD's stuffed animals. We didn't try the strollers there so I can't compare the two. We did however love having it with us, and I hope this helps!

Okay, y'all definitely need to get you some walkie talkies or another cell phone before the next trip! We were lucky and had my cell phone and DD's so could communicate when we were separated. We would have had a couple of disasters if we couldn't find each other (like DH going to WL for dinner instead of AKL!)

We had walkie talkies with us! Dh and Ariel had one and Ds and I left our at Epcot with our backpack. We do only have one cell though maybe we should look into getting another for our next trip.

On to the Magic Kingdom. This was the day that I was looking forward to the most, through all the planning and everything. I mean, come on, it’s the MAGIC KINGDOM!!! That’s what has always embodied Disney to me, but, anyway, on to the trip report!

We had set a wake up call for 7:00 and Mickey and Stitch woke us up right on time. Mystikgarden had already gotten up and taken a shower and gotten dressed and then gone back to bed. Darth popped up ready to roll, Ariel, however, was a different story. She gets awfully cranky when you wake her up before she wants to get up (She gets that from her mother ) but we finally managed to get her out of bed and ready. We had ADR’s at Crystal Palace for 8:10, which, I will admit was completely just a ploy to get us into the park before it opened, but it turned out to be my favorite meal I think.

The bus ride was fairly uneventful, as were most of them after the first one, and we made it to the Magic Kingdom in plenty of time to make our reservation. The look on Ariel’s face when we walked through the gates and she got her first real look at the Castle was priceless! We all had a spring in our step and were all smiles! When we rounded the corner, we were shocked at the number of people waiting for Crystal Palace! I thought for sure it would be forever before we got in, but after I checked us in, it was MAYBE five minutes and we were in the door and at our table, being greeted by wonderful smells and probably the best and most “magical” server we had the entire trip. For the life of me, I can’t remember her name, but she was friendly, efficient, and very sweet. After we were sat, Mystik and Darth went to get their food and Ariel and I waited. We were at one of the tables where one side was a bench seat, and Ariel and I were sitting on the bench seat when Piglet came by, and his hips were just too big to fit through the tables and Ariel was too shy to go out to him, so he just waved and continued on his way.

So I rectified the situation by moving us across the table so we could get a little more interaction. When they came back with their food, I went to get mine, and, let me tell you, the choices were hard! Everything looked and smelled so good that I just couldn’t resist it. I ate way too much. When I got back to the table, Eeyore came by, and Ariel really lit up! She had her Little Mermaid doll that she had gotten the day before and Eeyore played with her for a minute, balancing her on his nose and hugging Ariel.

We continued to eat and here came Tigger, putting the Little Mermaid doll in his mouth, cracking our little Ariel up!

Pooh was wonderful as well, even getting Darth to get a picture taken with him, which was no small feat!

After we were all stuffed to overflowing, we headed out, a little sad once we realized there were way too many people in front of us to try to wake Tink like we had planned, so we just continued on with our plans. After we left, Darth commented that he had had much better cinnamon rolls. He’s a bit of a cinnamon roll snob.

First up was Pooh, which that early was pretty much a walk on. Ariel has never really gotten into Dumbo, so we planned on skipping that and were going to do Alladin’s Magic Carpets later in the day, since they are basically the same ride. Well, Ariel was in heaven. She absolutely loved it! After Pooh was Peter Pan. Mystik took the kids on it, because the CM’s kept telling me I was parking the stroller in the wrong place, even though there was already a sea of strollers were I was parking, and they were already getting on the ride by the time I got back! When they got off that, which they all loved, we hopped onto Cindy’s Carousel since there wasn’t a line (Notice a theme, here? Thanks Tour Guide Mike! ) and then took pictures of the kids trying to take the Sword form the Stone, and Darth gave it all he had, knees braced on the stone and everything!

After that we went on Snow White and once again, waited MAYBE two or three minutes before we were on the ride. We were a little nervous that it would be too scary for Ariel, especially after the Figment incident, but she loved it! She’s a little daredevil at heart, she even rode the Beastie at Kings Island this week for the first time. For anyone that’s been there, it’s now the “Fairly Odd Coaster” themed after the Fairly Oddparents cartoon, but I refuse to call it that, so I think we have a thrillseeker on our hands! After that, we got in line at Ariels Grotto, because there was only one family in front of us, and they closed for Ariel to take a break after us, so we made it just in time! Our Ariel was truly star struck for the first time, and the “real” Ariel was FANTASTIC! She signed our little ones autograph book with bubbles all around her name, and ever since, our Ariel has been drawing bubbles EVERYWHERE! It’s so cute!

After that, Ariel played in the grotto while Darth and I hoofed it over to Space Mountain to get Fast Passes, and it was CLOSED! I asked the CM’s standing out front and they said it would possibly be down for the rest of the day. I did, however, notice that the wait for Monster’s Inc. was 10 minutes, so after a brief mental adjustment to the itinerary, I came up with a plan. Somehow I got put in charge of keeping us on track for our “Commando” day at Magic Kingdom, and I must say, I performed admirably! We met back up with the girls and I told them Space Mountain was a no go, but that we needed to hoof it back to Monster’s Inc. Before we went in, we FP’d Buzz Lightyear, and got a return time a half hour later. Perfect for just when we leave Monster’s Inc. Score one for Pix’s Planning! We got in line for Monster’s Inc, and we loved it! I was on the big screen and they promised that I would buy everyone a Churro! Ariel got a big kick out of seeing me up there!

We got on Buzz Lightyear immediately after leaving Monster’s Inc., Ariel and I in one car and Darth and Mystik behind us. I let Ariel control the spinning while I tried my best to shoot targets, but I was still spinning after we got off! She had the cutest smile on her face when she realized that SHE was actually controlling us! We were all pretty impressed with Buzz Lightyear. After riding Buzz and taking a picture with Pleakly (One of our favorite characters EVER) Darth was chomping at the bit to ride the Indy Speedway, so we gave him a walkie talkie and told him to meet us at Toon Town.

He’s a very independent kid and doesn’t mind going on his own at all, so he was tickled to death to brave the “World” on his own for a few. He ended up riding it twice, walking on both times.

Toon Town was already getting packed, but there was barley a line for Barnstormer, so we got on, and our little coaster junkie loved it! Hands in the air the entire time! After that, I went to get us some water and Ariel and Mystik went into Minnie’s House. When they came out, it was time for a pull up change, we didn’t push the potty training while we were in the parks, and it sure is biting us in the butt now, we’re back at square one. While in the restroom waiting for the changing station, I was watching the guy in front of me change his little girl. She was in a princess dress and he was a huge guy, not fat, just big, and seeing him trying to get her out of the princess dress was hilarious, more so because he kept complaining to his daughter about why in the world her mother had put her in that thing! At one point he asked me if I needed the changing table and I told him to take his time, that I was just happy to be out of the sun for a minute, and he went back to sweating and muttering trying to get her dressed again.

We met back up with Mystik and we went through Mickey’s house, and on our way out, Darth radioed us saying he was on his way and we met him at the entrance to Toon Town and then we went through Donald’s Boat, which we felt was a little blah. Not too much to it.

After that, it was our scheduled break time, and we were early! We left Magic Kingdom to go back to the hotel feeling great, confident that we would get everything in at the Magic Kingdom that we had planned.

Stay tuned for the arrival of the Parrot. Sorry for the lack of pictures, we didn’t too good in that regard, but I’ve always had the philosophy that I don’t want to experience things through a camera, but with my own eyes, but I always seem to regret it.

I sure wish we were going in October. We all really love Halloween around here! With school and all there just isn't any way we can pull it off Maybe one day!

You all are going to love CP it is so much fun!! The cinnamon rolls were ok He tried them everywhere and the result was all the same! I hoping next trip we will be able to take him to Main St. Bakery.

Ariel had such a wonderful time meeting the real Ariel she still talks about it! And thank you she has very unruly curly hair and in the Fl. heat there wasn't a thing I could do with it!

We really tried to take a lot more pictures but it was either miss the real event trying to pull out cameras or to experience it.

We forgot to add before we left MK for our break we got FP's to Splash Mountain.

Ok so when we got back from our break the park was and I was still sleepy and a tad bit grumpy. We walked around and decided to ride Aladdin first. Ariel LOVED it!! Anything she control herself she loved. The line was long but she really wanted to ride this one. It was about 10-15 mins. I know poor us huh...but after it had been no waits all day it was hard to get used to. After we got off Darth and I saw there was no wait at the Swiss Family Tree house.

Darth had just watched the movie and loved it so I thought it would be cool for him to see "their" house up close. So I turned to Dh and told him that we were going to do that and he and Ariel could go get the FP's for Big Thunder Railroad. He asked where we wanted to meet. Well I looked around and saw these big tiki like things that squirted water. So I said "the tiki squirty things" well the people behind us died laughing. I however didn't find it too funny Well what would you call them?! So we all set off. Darth and I did a walk through of the Tree house. I dd this when I was younger and loved it just like I loved the movie. I'm not too sure if he liked it so much. We walked out and waited by the "tiki things" So I saw the little shop on the other side of the Magic Carpets and we went to go have a look because I knew Pix and Ariel would be awhile.

Behind the counter there was a question written on this black board. It was "What was the name of Jafars bird?" I showed Darth the sign. He knew the answer of course. So he picked out some candy and looked at the pins. (He is such a pin junkie now!) He took his candy up to the counter and I said did you answer the question? He looked at the CM and read it outloud and said Iago. Well he just looked up at him and that was it. No thanks or good job nothing. I thought for sure something was going to happen like at least a Mickey sticker or something but no....

So we went back to the tiki men and we look up and here comes Pix and Ariel eating a Mickey bar! Ok no every time they were alone together she always came back with a Mickey bar!! What ever she wants dad gets!! So we start walking really no place in mind. We end up at Pirates of the Caribbean.

The sign say 45 min. wait!! I look at Pixardust and say no way am I standing in a 45 min. line. Well the CM at the door said Davey Jones must have been messing around with the clock and said it was really about 15 minutes. So we park our stroller 8 paces away just like he told us and away we went! Well we walk and walk it seems like before we ever found the line. I really like the theming!! We Ariel of course started saying she was "tired" again. We kept telling her all about it and Jack Sparrow. She seemed to be ok with it. So we got on the boat in the front row. We set sail. She looked a little nervous but she really got into it. She is now one Jack Sparrow fan! She loved seeing him especially at the end with all of the treasure. So of course they let you off in a shop. So Darth and Ariel just had to go shopping. So Ariel saw this treasure chest just full of parrots and she said, "I have one of these!" I was like are you sure you want this and she of course said yes. They both had their own money so I said ok.

On this trip Darth bought all Pirates and necklace stuff. Ariel bought all stuffed animals! Silly silly kids!!

We then headed towards Haunted mansion. I just had to stop by Sleepy Hollow to have my picture taken! Then we decided to get some dinner. We ate at Columbia Harbor house. Dh and I got the fish and chicken and chocolate cake which was pretty good I think better than Capitan D's or Long John Silvers. Darth had just the chicken and a carrot cake. He liked it but I tasted the carrot cake and it tasted a little weird to me. Other that that pretty good counter service.

So we parked the stroller and headed to Haunted mansion. We waited maybe 5 mins. then were ushered through to the ride. I rode with Ariel and Darth and Pix rode behind us. Ariel was a little scared of the spider that was all though. Why in the world did Figment scare this child but nothing else?! Well we all loved the ride! I can't wait to ride it once the rehab is over!!

We then decided to use our Fastpasses for Splash Mountain. Darth wanted me to go on with him. So we handed off our FP's and walked up and four people were in front of us!! How cool was that! So of course we were the first to get on the next boat. Right in front!! Well we sail along and get around the first bend so you can see the people going down the big hill. Well the boat behind us got shot with water and Darth and I were laughing so hard ha ha look at them! We turned around and we got shot too! I got it right in my ear wow that's some forceful water! We where so wet I couldn't believe how much water that was! That ride is the cutest ride I LOVE all of the theming! So we go down the big hill and we didn't even get wet just a little splash. Everyone behind us got it though! That is the best ride we will definitely ride it again next time!!

So Pix and Darth wanted to use their FP's for Big Thunder. I took Ariel to Pooh's Playful spot so she could run around and play.

Well on our way over we got stuck in the Dreams show and the Spectro seating. I had to do some fancy maneuvering to get too Pooh. We made it! Pooh's Playful spot is the best playground ever I wish all of them were like this. There was like 5 other family's there. It was so relaxing and Ariel had such a good time. I was winding down. So I took a spot off to the side to sit. I look up and one of the dream team members was walking in. My heart skipped a beat. I was wondering if we were about to get a dream?!? He went over and started talking to some little girls. There parents came over to see what was going on. He was talking and joking around with them. I heard him say he had something in his bag. He dug around in it and pulled nothing out and said "BOO" the little girls (they where probably like 6 and 8) jumped. The parents and the DT guy were laughing and laughing. He said really I do have something and sprinkled some Pixie dust over there heads. The dad was like or look fairy dust. The Dream Team guy whipped his head around and stared at the dad and said, "NO PIXIE DUST!" He got up and walked away. I was like wow I guess he made him mad. He was sitting just outside of Pooh digging around in his bag. I thought he was packing up for the night. Then he came back in this time with a guy in a white shirt and green shorts. He got the family all together. He told them something I was straining to hear but couldn't then the little girls and the parents started jumping up and down and screaming. Pixar and Darth walked up after that. I don't have a clue on what they won but I really liked watching the whole thing unfold!

We decided we were all just too tired to stay for Specktro and Wishes so we left the park as Specktro was starting. We stopped and got a few Crispy Mickey's and some other candy on our way out. We got back to POP and pretty much collapsed on the beds and feel fast asleep. Awaiting out day at Animal Kingdom.
