Okay, here goes! I will cut and paste from my wife Kim's trip report which containes mostly details, and I will fill in with background info in parenthesis.
Here is a little background information:
Pre-trip and Friday, January 21,2011:
Before the trip:
As best as she can remember, it was in the spring of 2006 that Wendy Rose began praying that she could go to Disney World with Susanna, Garry, and me. Her eight older siblings had been able to go through the generosity of Garry's Aunt Dorothy(who just passed away - her funeral is this Friday). Now she was asking God to provide for another trip. The spring of 2006 is also when Wendy Rose's excess cortisol began to affect her. It would be three years before we'd know that she had Cushing's Syndrome, and it's her Cushing's Syndrome that led us to the discovery of the cancer that God used to give her a better Disney World trip than she could have imagined.
In the spring of 2010, when we were discussing Wendy Rose's cancer with Kirk and Denise Comstock(friends from our church), they recommended we contact Make-A-Wish. They'd become involved with Make-A-Wish because their daughter Amy had had cancer. Since Wendy Rose's unique condition wouldn't put her in the usual cancer treatment routine, they feared that no medical professionals would initiate the contact, so we should do it ourselves. We realized that this could be God's way of answering Wendy Rose's prayers.
We filled out an application and had a doctor confirm that Wendy Roses’s condition is life-threatening. After a bit, Make-A-Wish informed us that she was eligible for a wish. Because my mind was busy with Wendy Rose’s health issues and Garry is very knowledgeable about Disney, he handled most of the communications and arrangements with Make-A-Wish. Wish Volunteers Ellen and Kathy came to our house on August 16, 2010, for Wendy Rose’s Wish Ceremony. They asked Wendy Rose to describe her dream. She didn’t ask for anything like riding in a parade, getting dressed up at the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique, or spending time with a Disney princess. She said she would be happy just to be at Disney World, but when pressed for details included staying on Disney property (specifically Wilderness Lodge), lots of time in the parks, and Sarah’s joining us. (Wish trips are usually limited to siblings under eighteen years old who live at home, and parents.) They couldn’t guarantee she’d get all she wanted, but they’d try to make her whole wish come true. As time went on Make-A-Wish approved her wish, then Sarah’s going with us, then our staying at Wilderness Lodge, then a fourth day in the parks.
Meanwhile, Garry found a website forum(That's here!) on which people post reports of Make-A-Wish Disney World trips. He started a thread for Wendy Rose. A group called The Big Give, which is active on that forum, contacted Garry. They explained that they make custom-designed Disney clothes for Wish families, and they wanted to make them for us. They asked Garry for our clothes sizes and preferences, as well as our favorite colors and Disney characters. A couple weeks before the trip, we started getting packages delivered to our house. It was like an extension of Christmas! Among the items given us by complete strangers are –
A twenty-dollar gift card for Wendy Rose
An hundred-dollar gift card for the family
Red and yellow tote bags with black initials and frilly trim for Wendy Rose, Melissa, and Heather

In anticipation of our trip, Garry had ordered Disney trading pins in bulk. He attached these to a Christmas tree we'd made out of neckties, and presented it to the kids after most of the crowd left on Christmas Day. The kids learned that many of Disney's cast members wear such pins and they'd be able to trade with them during our trip.
Two weeks before we left, Wish Volunteer Kathy came with tote bags for the girls and me, and gym bags for Garry and Stephen. They didn’t all contain the same things, but some of the included items were visors, water bottles, gum, Mickey Mouse gloves, hats, bandanas, stickers, notebooks, and puzzle and activity books. With our final instructions for the trip, Make-A-Wish sent a t-shirt for each of us, and a couple extras just to make sure the sizes would be right.Garry was able to get ten days off for this trip, and because he had to work extra hours the previous Tuesday, his vacation began an hour earlier than expected, Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
Most of Friday was filled with final packing and with getting a back-up supply of Wendy Rose’s injectable cortisol. A friend of my Mom's stopped by with gifts of spending money for each of the kids. That evening, enough was done and we were ready for a break from trip preparations, so we went to Springfield Christian Academy’s varsity basketball game. SCA lost, but it was good to see friends another time before our absence.
Here is what we look like in our T-shirts:
